Summer Weekend getaway

My friends/family and I grew up camping just north of Hollywood Beach at McGrath campground. Unfortunately, due to flooding, the park has been closed for 10 years. We have turned our summer camping trips into beach house rentals in Oxnard. We highly enjoyed our stay at Mollies by the Sea. As always, the neighborhood is safe, secure and full of friendly local residents. The house was incredible as well. Very easy check in/check out procedures and plenty of room for the small group we had. We always like bouncing around and trying new homes but we would rent this one again without a doubt!

Amazing location. Beautiful beach. Great for larger groups of friends or family members.

It’s always great when owners outfit a house to seat comfortably as many as they sleep. My friends and I like to gather once a year and when we do, we love nothing more than to hang out together and enjoy conversations. The living room is large and can easily seat 10 people comfortably. The dining room we can squeeze in. And that view and the sunsets are spectacular. We snuck out onto the beach after dark and saw bioluminescent plankton lighting up the waves. Truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The kitchen was well equipped, and it was nice to have beach towels and chairs available. Highly recommended!

Everything was in great condition and the place was comfortably furnished. The beach is so quiet and peaceful. It is awkward to get to the beach. You have to pass through a bedroom or go out the front door and go around the house. But we did not find that to be a big deal.

Amazing house - Gorgeous beach

We came from LA looking to get out of the craziness. We had no idea that Hollywood Beach existed before our Booking and we were blown away With the beauty and expansiveness of the beach . The house was perfect and had everything we needed. We definitely will want to return.
