This vintage hotel provided a really good rate for the one night we needed to stay in the area. The staff were awesome and we really enjoyed being close to Ottawa’s attractions. It’s a five minute drive to the War Museum!

I had a nice stay. Room was clean and quiet. Air conditioning was good. Breakfast was nice. Staff were polite and helpful. I think there are a bunch of recent angry reviews for this hotel because of some unfortunate episodes, but I had no problems. The rooms are dated in terms of decor, but they were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Hopefully whatever problems the hotel was having a little while ago have resolved.

Hotel was nice enough. However it would have been nice to know in advance that the pool and the hot tub were closed for renovations. We also noted that the carpet in the hallway could have used a vacuum as there was food particles that never got cleaned up for 3 days. The location was nice for us as we enjoyed the 30-minute walk into downtown Ottawa. We were on the 6th floor and had a nice view of the river.

Great price at a nice location. Very clean and quiet room. Only thing that can be improved is more staff at the front desk. One person at the check in counter so the line was 8 family's long to check in. Also the room was very hot when we checked in, glad we brought a fan to help cool it down. Parking underground lot was convenient but cost $14 per night. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

AC barely worked, tv remote didn't work, broken bulbs in room, no microwave, shower curtain is the size of a large towel, horrible bedsheets. The hotel is great in appearance and clean but for the price of the room, additional for parking and full cost breakfast I would not stay again.
