"Logement confortable. Petit déjeuner très complet, beaucoup de choix salé, sucré). Calme. Un bémol : wifi aléatoire pourtant il est très simple d'installer un répéteur WIFI (30 euros) dans la chambre et plus de problèmes. "

"Dimitri was wonderful. Great hospitality. Wonderful breakfast and all very warm, friendly and accommodating. I’d definitely stay there again. Quiet away from the crowds yet a quick walk to the old city and beach.
Highly recommend."

"Giorgio was an excellent host, very kind and generous. He is naturally gregarious and comfortable chatting with the guests and speaks many languages. On arrival he gave us links to local restaurants and things to do. Massaria Luci Grande was beautiful, clean and cannot be faulted. We spent time around the pool which was fantastic and relaxing with sun loungers and parasols. The breakfasts were great with many of the items homemade - bread, jam, tomatoes, courgettes, in addition to croissants,...

"The hotel is located a half block from the beachfront with many restaurants and shops. The staff was extremely helpful and arranging parking and getting the baggage to the hotel. There is a lovely rooftop terrace, which is especially nice because they serve breakfast there. Great view Patricia, the receptionist, was very helpful and a great ambassador for the Hotel."
"Make sure you take the time to go up to the balconies on the second and third floor for fantastic views of the Beautiful bay!
Bit of a walk into Centro but very doable, comfy clean with great staff"
"So many things about this property are wonderful. The staff at the restaurant and pool are fantastic. The grounds are lovely. The pool is amazing.
Breakfast is weird, small selection, same every day, and nothing was the right temperature (meat, fruit, etc all warm like it sat out, scrambled eggs always empty or alternatively cold)
The rooms are lovely and characteristic of a masseria. Unfortunately, they are incredibly warm and humid — they do have air conditioners but they are insufficient for the spaces. We were warm, muggy, sweaty, the whole time. I would dread staying there at the height of summer. Shower water pressure was nonexistent, and temperature was very inconsistent — sometimes very cold, then instantly hot, then cold again.
Where the stay fell apart for us: the hotel would not honor our expedia vil €30 spa credit, and tried every excuse under the sun as to why it didn’t apply. They also charge 2 euro per water in the hotel room fridge. Supposedly the price is located in a booklet that includes all of the other advertisements for the masseria (restaurant, spa services, etc) but the mini fridge is otherwise empty. It is the only hotel in italy we stayed in where an empty mini fridge with only water in it charged for the water.
The charge would have been fine if it was clearly posted, and if they hadn’t refused to honor the expedia booking credit.
The shuttle to otranto never ran, and cabs are 25 euro each way. They suggested i drunk drive to dinner elsewher…"
"Lovely old but renovated hotel with tasteful decor. Staff were friendly and generally helpful. Parking €10 for the stay which is good value but be warned its a good 10-12 mins walk with steep stairs to access the car park (the hotel offer a lift service but charge €15 each way).
The junior suite we stayed in was on ground floor level into the street. It had no air con but the old dark building manages to keep the place cold. We noticed an instant musty smell every time the windows were closed as such for air circulation we slept with the window/door in each room partially open but all night there was loud noise from the outdoor bar down the street (& nightclub on weekend night) plus people coming up and down, from 4-5am then the birds start waking up! Not relaxing or suitable for light sleepers.
Breakfast was quite a limited selection of healthy foods (other hotels we stayed in the region had more options though) but they did restock regularly and the balcony is lovely overlooking the port. My herbal tea was served luke warm each day (it barely changed colour), as was the coffee on 2 of the days we stayed. Overall would not stay again."
"We loved our stay! The property is beautifully maintained by lovely staff. Gorgeous breakfast too! Highly recommend and I would definitely book again when in the area."
"All was good. Rooms had own thermostats !
Except
1. parking location was close but there was confusion about payment. Hotel said it was manned but no one was at the booth that had a sign stating 5euros , but on another sign 5 day and 5 night. But since no one was there you had to use the machine which only gave me 5 hr for 10 euros , in coins only
Back at Hotel front desk said 5 E per day only and since we were staying 2 days the 10 e was fine
But if there is not an attendant upon depsrture one does not have to pay!?
At breakfast , all hot drinks relied on a server at the coffee machine so it was slow.
The breakfast room was large and airy with an outside area, good for hot weather which we did not have."
