"Especially good location, adjacent to harbour, very comfortable bed and room was quiet from internal and external noise. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a huge choice of items. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Public areas/lobby were plush with comfortable seating areas."

"Citybox in Damasplass is an average stay. This particular property is a convenient train ride away from downtown Bergen and all its attractions. However it is not walking distance to any of the tourist attractions. Property condition: While public areas are clean and comfortable, the rooms are less appealing. We stayed in family suite with 4 beds and it was definitely cramped. Breakfast downstairs was $20 pp and felt overpriced for the choices offered so we skipped."

When inquiring as to why our shower didn’t have a door (and thus water was all over the bathroom making it dangerously slippery) i was told they are renovating and just hadn’t finished our room yet (my thought was they shouldn’t have put us in there then but…). That said the staff is nice, the breakfast very good and location quiet and walkable to most things."
