Very competitively priced for a home of this standard Valhalla Shire offers fantastic value for money, and a real touch of luxury, with a beautifully furnished home in a tranquil setting. A 5 bedroom home with 4 full bathrooms, this villa sleeps 10 people comfortably, and we do restrict occupancy to that number to preserve the integrity of the home.
Valhalla Shire is located less than seven miles from Walt Disney World, in an exclusive, gated community called The Shire, a subdivision of West Haven. With more than 3,200 square feet of comfortable living space, your family will have plenty of room to relax. You will be able to enjoy two king master bedroom suites, each boasting their own en suite bathrooms. There are also formal living and dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and a family room that includes a very large 65 inch flat screen TV.
Your vacation getaway is enhanced with a well-equipped games room and a private pool and spa, tucked away in a quiet area with no rear view neighbors to spoil your peace and quiet. The tranquility that Valhalla Shire provides is a major plus for any family vacation, but it is by no means the only thing we recommend about this wonderful home. In fact, the list is almost endless.
The Shire, a subdivision located inside the impressive West Haven community, also has access to the clubhouse area, which boasts a gym, large resort style pool, tennis courts, and a childrens’ play area. The community itself is literally five minutes away from a host of shopping and restaurant options at nearby Champions Gate, while about ten minutes in the other direction you will find some more great shopping opportunities at the very popular Posner Park Mall.
The I-4 highway is just a five minute drive away. From there you can easily access Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld, as well as visit the town of Celebration and all the other attractions along US-192 and International Drive.
Given all that, the location of Valhalla Shire is clearly a major plus, but it is the home itself which is the main attraction here and it’s easy to see why.Valhalla Shire is one of just 115 homes in The Shire, a gated community which is impressive to look at and immaculately maintained. You get the feel of luxury just driving through the gates and the home itself is very welcoming too, offering a spacious feel as you enter through the front door.
The first thing you see is the sheer size of the home, with the second sitting area to your right, complete with a 50 inch TV, the dining area with seating for six next to that, and beyond that the kitchen and main living area, with the impressive pool in the distance.
The main living area has leather furniture, an impressive mahogany entertainment center housing a large 65 inch TV. It is an ideal place for the whole family to sit back and relax, or maybe watch the latest movies and shows. With Disney+ offered free of charge, there will be no shortage of things for the entire family to watch.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, full refrigerator, stove, coffee machine, toaster, waste disposal, and a host of hand held appliances. All kitchen utensils and crockery are provided for you, as are all linens and towels.
The two king bedrooms are located on the second floor, but on the first floor is a queen room, a welcome bonus for those who have trouble navigating stairs. Right next to that queen room is a full bathroom.
On the second floor you will find the other four bedrooms and the two king rooms mentioned earlier, both very impressive with full en suite facilities. The very spacious master bathroom is particularly luxurious with a Roman tub, separate shower, and his-and-hers bathroom sinks. These master bedrooms also have access to the second floor balcony overlooking the pool, another unique feature of the homes in The Shire.
Another queen bedroom, which boasts a Star Wars theme, and a twin room featuring Mickey Mouse himself, make up the five bedrooms in the home. They provide something for all the family! Incidentally, all the bedrooms have wall mounted TVs with smart capabilities, and all the TVs in the home have the Disney+ too.
Valhalla Shire has a full size washer and dryer, located on the second floor, and a very nice games room in the garage, featuring another large TV, a small ping pong table, putting game, darts, and foosball. (Note: We do prefer that adults supervise here, especially if children are playing with the darts). This games room is sure to be popular with all members of the family.

Of course, the main feature of most vacation homes is the swimming pool, and this home does not disappoint. The pool area itself is oversized which makes for plenty of room for family BBQs or nights relaxing with a glass of wine. The hot tub is a welcome addition and certain to be popular, as is the setting, which has a tranquil conservation view with no neighbors to the rear.
*Please note that as with most vacation homes there is an extra charge to heat the pool and hot tub. Ordering in advance means it will be turned on for your arrival and get your vacation off to a great start.

The Shire at West Haven
The Shire is a small, peaceful gated subdivision of West Haven, a popular Davenport community close to Disney World with a range of 4 and 5 bedroom privately owned villas, all with their own pool and spa. Many of the villas also have a games room and south or west-facing pool. Walt Disney World is just 22 minutes away, while Universal Studios and SeaWorld are 25-35 minutes away. Shops, restaurants and golf courses are all within a short driving distance at nearby Championsgate. ,
Villas on The Shire have access to the West Haven community facilities which can be found immediately before the entrance to The Dales. Early check in and late check out may be available for an additional fee if the home allows. Please ask for further details.
* We take a 25% deposit at the time of booking, with the balance due 30 days prior to arrival. If you are planning to stay within the next 30 days then full payment will be due at the time of booking to secure the home.
* Guests are not required to check in at our office in Celebration. You will be going straight to the property on arrival, and using a unique access code to gain entry. Your arrival pack, sent 3-5 days prior to arrival will have all this information, as well as the address, directions, and internet password for the property.
* Like all vacation homes our homes are classed as self catering accommodation. We do provide starter supplies of soap, toilet tissue, shampoo, detergent and dishwasher tablets, but guests are expected to replenish them during their stay.
