A group of family members and I stayed at this property for a week for a wedding. The property itself was beautiful, clean, and spacious enough for 7 adults. However there were quite a few things that just did not work for us.
The air hockey table did not work and the lighting in the garage was not the best. Three of the 4 bedrooms did not have a ceiling fan- in the Florida weather we would have expected Them to have some. It got Pretty hot at night and the one portable fan moved around the home quite a bit. The actual AC stopped working. We contacted the property owner though and they sent someone right away which was great.
The actual gated community had a lot of rules. Although our check in was easy, we hosted some of our family one night (some of them live in Florida) and security would not let them in because they were not on a guest list. We were not told we had to add visitors to a guest list. I have been to other places that will just let you in if you are visiting someone staying there so that was just a little bit annoying. Again we called and they got It squared Away pretty quickly.
The beds are VERY firm and not the most comfortable.
We had to refill the propane tank in order to use the grill, if you are going to offer It to People you would think It would Be filled.
There are no kitchen spices other than salt and pepper so be prepared to buy EVERYTHING including toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc.
Also checking out was a lot of work- I understand that It is Not a hotel but we were asked to leave all linens and towels in the laundry room, place all dishes in the dishwasher, make sure all of the trash is taken out. We are not slobs but if we are paying a cleaning fee I don’t understand why we had to do all of the above.
It is Pretty close to all of the major parks so that was nice. Overall the property has a lot of potential but I don’t know if I would return.
