The owner of the property did not reach out or provide any check-in information, the only information were the emails from VRBO. When I realized this an hour before we were to arrive at the property I contacted the owner through the app. When we were 30 minutes from the property he sent a one line message in Spanish saying, “Sorry for the inconvenience”. My prepaid booking was refunded however, I had to scramble with 30 minutes notice to find two hotel rooms for four nights in Kissimmee, Florida the weekend before New Year’s. I will be reaching out to speak to someone with VRBO. The owner of the property cannot be allowed to do this to another family.
