Lovely pub / hotel /restaurant in a beautiful spot.
The room was gorgeous with a roll top bath and very comfy bed.
The hotel was totally dog friendly- they are allowed everywhere and even get a sausage for breakfast!
We ate in the restaurant twice and loved it both times - good portions and great specials.
The bar is comfortable with a wide range of cask ales and a great selection of wine.

We stayed the garden rooms-they were lovely with a table/chairs outside but so be aware the WiFi is terrible and it’s very noisy! Both woken by 530 am by birds and sounds from the factory! No ones fault of course but worth knowing if you are a light sleeper! 」

「Comfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. 」

「Fantastic stay. I received a warm welcome and was informed of the history of the main house and given informationabout breakfast and the relaxing bar area.
Breakfast orders are taken the evening before, and my order was delivered to the dining room at exactly the time ordered (it was hot, fresh and delicious). There are cereals etc already in the room.
The choice is excellent and includes veggie/vegan options. Great coffee.
