"The room was clean and spacious. We were on the second floor so the ceiling was vaulted which made it seem larger. The bed was very comfortable. The outdoor pool looked nice and big even though we didn’t use it. You must walk (or drive) across the street for breakfast at their restaurant. The continental breakfast was free but you could order off the menu for a discount. The restaurant is nice with a lot of window seating to overlook the bay. The receptionist was very nice and helpful and he said someone was there 24/7 when I asked about a later arrival."

"Can't beat the location, that's for sure. Really enjoyed the wood burning stove in the evenings while overlooking the bay. Coffee on the balcony was a fantastic way to wake up in the morning. The birds and seals/sea lions all around the bay made for a lovely morning of sights and sounds. We were originally going to stay at the Lodge on Bodega Bay, and I'm happy we chose this place instead. We ended up going to Drakes to have cocktails at the outside firepits, and then dinner afterwards. Drakes is located at the Lodge, and honestly, I think was the best part about the property. So the fact that you can drink and dine there without staying at the Lodge makes it worthwhile to look at other options like this property. Couple small issues to note:Noise transfer was in the description of the rental, so we were expecting some from the other units. The electronic fog horn at Bodega Bay goes off 24/7 every 10 seconds, and is audible through the walls. This did wake us up a bit earlier than expected. So depending on the renter, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who may be a light sleeper.Beds/pillows weren't the greatest, and the squeaky/creaky basic frames must definitely contribute to noise transfer to the renters below. This is something I hope the host may consider improving down the road. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend the place to others. I always feel compelled to leave honest reviews so future renters can set their expectations."

"Great staff and beautiful location. My room was big, but could do with renovation. I wish it had A/C because there was a major heat wave going on, something that is exceedingly rare in West Marin. I understand why they don’t have A/C, but I wish there was one during my visit. Would I go there again? Yes."

"Front Desk staff, I think his name was Gerardo, was extremely helpful. The cleaning staff was running behind and our room was not ready when we arrived for check in, The situation was explained and after some work arounds, we were able to check-in. Given the circumstance, and because of the Labor Day holiday rush, he had to jump some hoops to fix things on our behalf. Kudos. Our room was clean and fully stocked to Motel 6 levels. Overall, we had a pleasant stay."

"This was an amazing property with beautiful views! Every single room had a bay view, which was incredible. We loved the appliances like the icemaker in the freezer. It was a nice open concept kitchen/dining room as well, which was really nice for gathering as a group."

"What a lovely sanctuary. With unparalleled views & complete comfort, this studio was everything we desired for a long weekend. Well located in Bodega Bay we had easy access to local needs. Kayaking on a calm day was a dream. We wanted to take the bed and pillows home with us ").The kitchen is very well appointed and the wood burning stove & Weber barbecue were an added bonus. Linger on the deck and watch the wildlife as you exhale..."
