"Gute Unterkunft für ein langes Wochenende. Besonders gut hat uns die Sauberkeit und die Ausstattung in der Küche gefallen (Kühlschrank, Backofen, Herd, Geschirr). Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vor dem Zimmer gibt es eine kleine Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen. Die Lage ist top für Ausflüge an den Nürburgring und in die Eifel. "Absolute Empfehlung für eine wirklich außergewöhnliche Unterkunft!Sind aus dem Staunen nicht mehr heraus gekommen, haben jeden Tag neue Details entdeckt, die Scheune ist ein Gesamtkunstwerk!Was Komfort anbelangt, muss man zwar ein, zwei Augen zudrücken... sehr enge Wendeltreppe, außer der große Tisch keine Ablage-/Arbeitsflächen in der Küche, in oberem Schlafzimmer kleine "Stolperfalle", alle Räume sind ein wenig düster, Herd muss mit Holz befeuert werden... ...wobei eben das dann auch den Charme ausmacht. Der Lichteinfall aus unterschiedlichsten Richtungen setzt künstlerische Details passend in Szene! Fast fühlten wir uns in eine altertümliche "Burg" versetzt.Das absolute Highlight war für mich das große Bad mit hölzernem Waschzuber!Und wunderschön anzusehen ist das Wohnzimmer im ersten Stock mit Kirchenbank und Klavier, Rundfenster, Kronleuchter, verschiedene Spiegel sorgen für romantischen Lichteinfall!Hat man sich erst mal arrangiert mit den vorliegenden Gegebenheiten, ist es ein absolutes Erlebnis!Auch beim Rundgang ums Haus gibt es vieles zu bestaunen, Orangerie, Garten, schmiedeeiserne Kunst...Menschen, die es penibel sauber und ordentlich haben möchten, sind hier vielleicht etwas überfordert, aber alle, die besonders ungewöhnliche Locations zur Übernachtung suchen, werden hier fündig!!!Die Betten sind übrigens mega bequem!Unser Dank geht an Ronny, der als Host beste Arbeit leistet, jederzeit erreichbar, Check-in und Kommunikation völlig unkompliziert !!!"

"Wir haben ein langes Wochenende mit 14 Leuten, Baby und Hund auf der Kronenburger Alm verbracht und sind begeistert. Das Haus war super sauber, gut in Stand gehalten und bestens ausgestattet! Von Servietten und Seife über Grillkohle bis hin zum Fön ist alles vorhanden. Dank Kicker, Billiard, Darts, Flat TV, Sauna, Hot Tub und großer Terrasse mit Aussicht ins Grüne fand jeder auch dann eine Beschäftigung, wenn wir nicht gerade die Umgebung erkundeten. Wir waren anlässlich des 75. meines Vaters dort und zur Begrüßung gab es sogar ein 10l-Fass Bier. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war unkompliziert und sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Wir haben schon häufiger Unterkünfte für größere Gruppen gebucht, aber diese hier war mit Abstand die Beste und ein absoluter Glücksgriff. Hier steht einer entspannten Auszeit absolut nichts im Wege. :)"

"We were given an upgrade and the room was very nice, although the cost was very high at £180+ , which we assumed was due to the time of year. It was part of an 8 day trip which included 5 hotels and this was almost double the cost of the other, good quality hotels. The hotel and amenities are excellent and I would have awarded a higher rating for the ambience……however we were very disappointed with the set meal at £69 per head. We had invited my husbands mother to join us and felt that it wasn’t value for money. The bar was suffering from staff sickness and service was slow…..but the head barman was very good and apologetic for any inconvenience. Overall a very nice hotel, but expensive."
