A tidy and comfortable apartment in a lovely neighborhood with an outstanding view of the ocean. Our hosts were very helpful. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck, taking in the beautiful ocean view and sunrises and moon rises.

Yes, Jim was exceedingly welcoming. It was my wife's birthday and he made the effort to place a beautiful bouquet of flowers on the dining room table with a happy birthday banner hanging nearby. An unexpected delight!Our rental was comfortable, clean and afforded us with beautiful ocean views.

Wonderful!

We had a great experience here. The view was wonderful, the apartment was clean and well stocked in the kitchen. A very nice location a short distance to public beach, restaurants, and points of interest. The owner made checking in extremely easy and answered questions promptly. Would highly recommend.

This place is paradise! Very clean and well-stocked with all the necessities. Host was charming and welcoming. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the carriage house is the absolute perfect get away! The views are magnificent! We could see two lighthouses from the porch. We watched sunrises, waves, wildlife, and sunsets. We also enjoyed the grove of trees where we enjoyed the breeze. The town has great little shops and restaurants. This was perfect!

Can not beat the view and very close to everything we like in York Harbor. This is a wonderful place but is in some need of updating. It is always clean and Jan and Jim are great.

return to my roots

after moving to the west coast 17 years ago it was wonderful for my family to experience all things New England that I grew up with. And we couldn’t have had a better experience and the location is spectacular! The view of the ocean, waking up to the sound of birds chirping, the ocean waves and just the overall joy our children experienced has us longing to come back…we certainly will be returning… thank you James and Jan!

The View!

Our stay was spectacular and everything we could hope for! The property was accurate to the listing and the views were amazing. Even though it was foggy most of our stay, you were able to get glimpses of the Nubble Lighthouse. The beach is a 5 minute drive and you can explore York with everything within 20 minutes of the house. Although you were attached to the main house, we had plenty of privacy! We will definityly stay again!

Heaven on Earth

I had a wonderful vacation here. Jan brought me a bouquet of flowers when I arrived and Jim came right over when I had a question about the tv. The view is amazing and I spent many hours reading on the deck listening to the ocean. Everything was provided for, all you needed was your clothes and a toothbrush. I can't wait to come back next summer.

Exceptional property

A wonderful place to stay in the York/Cape Neddick area! The view and the sound of the surf from the unit were a welcome relaxation. Everything that we could have needed was in the unit, even olive oil and cooking spray for cooking! This apt. is in a perfect, quiet location to enjoy the southern coast of Maine. Weekend get a way.

Great view

The pictures say it all. A spacious room with a spectacular view in a very quiet and peaceful area. The kitchen has everything you need. The loft was no problem for us. Only the WiFi was not so strong.

Ocean view

We loved the view from this garage apartment! We had a clear view of Boone Island Light and an sLightly obstructed view of the Nubble. We loved being out of the traffic of Long Sands. We found ourselves spending a lot of time reading while enjoying the view and listening to the ocean. We will be back!

Nice location with a spectacular view

The carriage house was comfortable, cozy and in a nice location with a spectacular view. The house is as described online. I would suggest taking your own toiletries and your own bed linens if you have an allergy to scented laundry products. Overall, it was a great place to stay and the owners were accommodating. The friendly little dog, pippa was so sweet and greeted us in the driveway everyday.

Great getaway

My husband and I loved this apartment because it was supremely peaceful. The view can't be beat, and though not a fancy place, it had everything we needed. Living room furniture was very comfortable, which is not always the case in places we've rented. This was really important because sitting on the couch looking at the ocean was just what we needed. Will definitely return.
