「Upon arrival, it was obvious that it wasn’t ran through for a touch up cleaning same date of arrival. We had a dead field mouse in the master tub and ants all over the kitchen counter. The bathrooms need serious updating, decks need to be painted, she just needs some love. It’s a cool place, we had a great time. If you put about 10k for some upgrades, it would be a more pleasurable stay for your future guests.」

「Chalet #9 is a humble home with a direct path to beach (7 minute walk) and just a few blocks away from Sharky’s. The kitchen is small and there is no dishwasher, I share that in case you have a big intention to cook a lot, be prepared to hand wash (no problem for us). This is more built for 2 people, anymore would feel overwhelming. 1 parking spot right outside the door. The text updates were great with door codes for check in as well as the check out process. 「We had a great stay. Quiet, relaxing, nice decor, close to everything, had Wi-Fi but we didn’t use because phones had great reception. Only gripes are stickers in the grass that prevented us from taking our dogs out to the back area after the first attempt. We had to pick the stickers out of their paws with tweezers. The other was no A/C and no fans in the unit. We ended up buying a few fans at the store. The place does cool down quickly in the evening with the marine breeze.」

「We love the location, have driven past it on countless occasions. We come down for at least 3 days of digging every year, usually twice. Everything about this condo was great except the bed. The mattress must be 30 or 40 years old so they have a 3 inch mattress topper on the mattress, this topper is Well past its expiration date and this makes for an extremely uncomfortable nights sleep. Nothing worse than 2 nights of lousy sleep.」

While you can't see the ocean from the unit, it is on the ocean side of the street and a very short walk to the beach. It was cozy, comfortable, and clean and our host was fantastic.
