We enjoyed the location, a very easy walk or golf cart ride to the beach and restaurants. House had plenty of room for our group of 14 people. Felt like a home away from home.

Great Beach House for a Great OIB Vacation

We loved our stay at Old Man by the Sea! The location is perfect -- easy access to the beach, with private access to the dock and waterway out back, plus an easy walk to the middle of the island with restaurants, shops, ice cream, market, etc. The pool and elevator were a huge plus! The house is well-furnished and well-equipped to handle a big gathering, and my family and I had a great time. Thank you, Old Man by the Sea, for a wonderful vacation!

An oasis on the isle

The house was all that we expected. It was clean, stocked well with diahes, utensils, towels, and everything else necessary. The rooms were perfectly sized to accomodate all of our family. A full bathroom in every room was one of the best features. The beat part had to be the pool and the view of the waterway. All around top notch. Would definitely stay here again if we were to come back.

There is not a hot tub

VRBO misrepresented the swimming pool as a hot tub. The property management company did their best to heat it and apologized but it ended up being a warm pool rather than a hot tub. Fortunately the weather cooperated but otherwise it would have been unusable, and that was the main reason we booked this place. I did appreciate the sincere apologies of the manager, but my request for a follow up communication about receiving compensation was never done. So we won’t be renting from that company again. The house itself was lovely and great location.

Amazing experience

We go on a beach trip every September. This home and rental company were by far the best ones we have ever stayed with! Every detail was covered!! We all LOVED our stay, even with terrible weather. And we are excited to rent again next year!

The BEST house we have ever stayed at

This house was jaw dropping amazing! Clean and extremely beautiful. Jaw dropping views and sunsets. If you are tired of the worn down party rentals and want something that is higher end and family oriented this is the house! Oasis Vacations was amazing to deal with as well. Customer service was excellent and they were attentive and friendly and quick to reply to anything we needed. They went far beyond anything I could have imagined. Hands down this was the best house and best rental company we have experienced in OIB in the last 10yrs of visiting. 100% will be renting this house and with them again. There’s no comparison

Beautiful newer construction

House looks and feels brand new, and by far the best stocked house we have rented. Everything you need is included, which reduces what you have to bring. The pool and huge backyard are great for the kids and adults alike. Fishing off the included private dock was a great added bonus.
