"The property is in a great location, on a quiet neighborhood street and close to both downtown and south-of-town destinations (we ended up biking most times we went out). It’s the perfect size for a couple - cozy, but spacious enough. The bed was comfortable, the linens were decent, and everything was clean and well-maintained. The internet signal was strong and reliable. Check-in was smooth, parking was off-street, and communication with the owner was quick and responsive.The kitchen was well equipped. It was nice to have an actual drip coffee maker, since we’re not fans of the ubiquitous K-cup makers. The one issue we had - which probably wouldn’t bother some - was the lack of stove ventilation. We tend to cook most of our breakfasts during VRBO stays, and we found that we couldn’t fry eggs without setting off the smoke detectors (at least we knew they worked!) - despite opening the windows and screened back door as a precaution. There likely wouldn’t be an issue if you were just boiling water for tea or reheating something in the oven, but just an FYI for anyone planning to do stovetop cooking. This is a first-floor unit, so there was a bit of noise from people moving about in the upstairs unit, but nothing problematic during our stay."
