「This was a great home. The common areas were spacious and the kitchen appeared well stocked. Some of the decor/finished were a little dated but the space itself was great. The outside area is amazing, there is a fire pit and a swing right on the water. Definitely would stay again.」

「We had an amazing stay at Birch Haven. This was my parents first trip to Door County, so the location was perfect for us to easily explore different areas around Door County. The layout of the home is perfect for a young family so that children are at the other end of the house which made it easy for everyone else to get sleep in case there was an interruption during the night. 「We had a nice stay here with 3 adults and our dog. Everything was as described. I have mobility issues, and much of the reason for choosing this booking was that it is all on one level. I was able to get around with my walker in the cabin. I will say that I did have some unavoidable difficulty with the front steps to enter, which could be improved by the addition of a handrail and possibly even a ramp, but this doesn't affect my rating, as it was a known factor when choosing the listing. 「We were slightly nervous about booking this cottage before it had any reviews, but I'm sure glad we did! It was exactly what we were looking for.
