「It's a historical building.The facilities are certainly old but very clean.I don't see the hotel staff until I check in and enter my room.It is sufficient to communicate everything by e-mail.The response is quick.You can also feel the functionality in the oldness.If you knew in advance that there was free water or snacks, you didn't have to go to a store and buy water.」

「Terrific little historic hotel with a lot of vintage charm. Right downtown -- walking distance to the river, nearby casinos, and (in our case) the Mudbug Madness Festival. The staff was particularly warm and inviting -- offering terrific local advise and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This place should be on your radar screen when visiting Shreveport!」

「Breakfast was good. Rooms could have been cleaner. A dried booger on the bathroom wall. Yuck! Room smelt and stains on the coach. Also ran out of towels every morning and coffee maker broken for two days of our stay. Staff were so friendly and kind.」

「Will not stay there again! The room had a bed no type of easy chair, and the TV would only get 4 to 5 stations. Complained to the lady at the front desk and was told that the lobby TV was on the same sat. system and was working great. Not again!!」
