Westbeach Holiday Apartments

"We stayed in the Westbeach apartments for 3 nights during the summer holidays. We had a 3 bed apartment for our family of 4, plus my father in law. The apartment was spacious and really comfortable. Beds were comfy and clean. Kitchen/lounge layout is always a win for us as we love open plan. The balcony from the living room and master bedroom was just lovely. Shower/bathroom was fab with lovely shower. Everything to a fairly high spec. We read the sad story behind the development of the apartments, but amazing that they managed to get them finished! The half finished building next to Westbeach is an absolute eyesore. One night we did see what looked like homeless people sleeping in there, but honestly it didn't bother us and it's no ones fault that it's been left in that state. It took us quite a while to find the apartment! But that's likely more on us and our navigation skills than anyone else's fault! We parked right by the apartment which was hassle free and fine for our tall campervan. We were right in the hustle and bustle of westward ho and it was lovely. Would use the apartments again- they were lovely, thank you :-)"

"Location is every bit as good as it seems and it all felt like a real home with extra luxuries like a proper coffee machine and 2 sofa lazy boys. Was exactly what we were looking for and can't recommend highly enough"

"We stayed six nights and enjoyed it immensely. There is a real homely feeling to the hotel. There were a few niggles but you get them wherever you go. The staff were polite, friendly and most attentive. The bar and restaurant were more than satisfactory and the heated outdoor pool was a brilliant addition. We will definitely be going back especially since my partners friend is residing in Bideford now and we will happily reserve a room at Durant House Hotel whenever we visit."

"We found the stay very enjoyable. The hotel was in an excellent location for the local amenities and the beach. Parking was never a problem. There were plenty of places to eat and drink, both inside and al fresco. We particularly enjoyed the Thatchers cider. Everywhere was very clean and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We would be very happy to recommend your hotel to anyone we know going to Westward Ho, and would like to return one day."

"We had the most amazing week at this apartment. Lauren was a lovely host who was easy to contact and really helpful. The location is perfect and we loved spending our time on the balcony watching the waves and the sun sets. Lauren has thought of everything you need from a trolley to bring your bags up in the lift to every utensil you could need. The bedding and towels were so lovely too! We really did not want to leave and will definitely be back."

"We've just returned from a 9 day stay in this property in Westward Ho! The property is exactly as described, and very accurate to the images - in fact we found the views even better in real life than the photos here. The flat was very well equipped and is in an excellent location with the beach, pubs, bars and shops all a few minutes away. Communication with the owner was straightforward and effective, and access instructions very clear.Overall very highly recommended."
