「Went looking for a pet-friendly place to stay in Payson. This was an amazing option. Went for the premium to have a larger space. That we got in spades! Both a front and back door for access to a puppy-friendly area. It was lovely. We only had one complaint...there wasn't a plug close to the lovely desk. Instead a multi-function was beside the bed against the wall. Otherwise, we had a lovely couch, fireplace and in-room jacuzzi!」

Once you walk through the doors and start looking around, they have kept the aesthetics AND much of the actual decor and such...giving a historic feel. It's beautiful and inviting and the staff was absolutely friendly and accommodating. Obviously, there may be a few things off and on, noticeable things needing some attention in the rooms...we had a fabulous time and beds were comfy. I will stay here again! 」

「The property was quiet and secluded but not far enough away from local restaurants (Cottonwood and Clarkdale) and sightseeing to be a challenge. We had a room on the backside with a great view of the valley and Tuzigoot National monument- well worth visiting. The hotel decor was eye-catching with its Hopi theme (Taawaki means "House of the Sun" and the gift shop had many artistic offerings.
