This private and spacious home has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and enough sleeping arrangements for 8 guests but will comfortably accommodate 6 making this the ideal place for families or groups of friends to enjoy the wonderful far north experience.

You'll feel right at home the moment you step inside with the indoor outdoor flow from the spacious, comfortable living area to the deck/ BBQ area which looks out over stunning rolling hillsides and out to the ocean waters of Rarawa Beach.

This home has everything needed for a comfortable stay including free WIFI, TV with built in DVD player and satellite Freeview which will be sure to satisfy everyone whilst on holiday.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities necessary from pots and pans to serve ware for those cheese platters which will sure to be enjoyed alfresco looking over the breathtaking views.

The outdoor shower will definitely come in handy to hose off that sand from your fun filled day at any of the spectacular beaches in the area and the fish cleaning station is perfect for filleting all those big catch of the day's on and with the extra freezer space available you'll be able to take your fish home.

There is ample private parking for several vehicles and/ or multiple large boats.

Situated 5 minutes from Rarawa Beach and Henderson Bay just 2 of the many beachs the far north has to offer both boast excellent fishing, surfing and swimming.

Pack a lunch and head to Cape Reinga to absorb the beautiful breathtaking views of the top of New Zealand and then stop in at Taputaputa bay for a picnic and a swim.

Only 10 minutes to Pukenui wharf, Houhora four square, Restaurant/ bar and takeaways and Houhora big game and sports fishing club

Best holiday away from home

This property was amazing … very spacious we room to host me and my family … so close to Henderson bay beach that travelling was a breeze when we wanted to go for a swim on a hot day .. has everything for you to utilise whilst staying truly recommend for anyone looking for a home away from home would definitely be back up north in the coming years and most definitely will be booking this property again but for longer this time

Peaceful , great for the fisherman or large family

Couldn't even see a neighbor from here, loads of beds and a very well equipped kitchen, a large extra freezer for all the fish caught and a boat ramp only minutes away. I will definitely stay again

Serenity in the Far North

The bach is perfect for those who wants to get away from the rat race and reconnect to one's peaceful self. As one of my friends would describe it as "perfect for writers wanting to have time with their thoughts". Space allowed you to relax as you look out to the garden and a glimpse of the beach beyond. Has all the amenities that you would need. All the living areas are spacious great for big families. The deck over looking the garden and fields are most enjoyable as you sip your morning coffee or have a family BBQ for dinner.

We couldn't have asked for a better way to start our 2021. Houhora is lovely and this bach did not disappoint. 10 minutes from two jaw dropping beaches- its unbeatable!

Great clean and tidy. Wifi not that great as drops out a lot. Tv poor reception. Would highly recommend this as a stay. Pity about covid 19. Had to cut stay short but will definitely be back.

Lovely rural setting

Great place to stay, everything you need including a washing machine, extra freezer (for the fish you might catch), super view from the desk . Very clean and well presented. Wifi great. Very nice garden dispite the dry hot weather. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice place

We had a really great time at this location. Really nice private setting. Was great for our group of four adults and 2 young children. The bunk bed was not super comfortable for adults to sleep on but was fine for the one night we were there. Overall it was very nice.
