Situated 1 block from quaint downtown Balboa Island, this 2nd floor unit of a duplex offers easy access to the beach and boardwalk.
It's 4 bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths make it perfect for a large family or groups of friends.
Along with its great corner location, the unit has 2 entrances, front stairway and rear stairway for easy loading and unloading of your car from the carport.
Downstairs is also avaliable see "shiny gem on Onyx Ave.

Home is in excellent condition and beautifully furnished. Location is conveniently close to shopping and dining. Host is very responsive and caring. We experienced a mechanical issue on Christmas Eve and it was resolved the next day. Would highly recommend this lovely spot.

The house was perfect for my family and spacious for all 7 of us. The location was wonderful for walking to shops and restaurants as well as the water. Ron was so quick to respond to any questions and accommodating for last minute construction happening right outside the house.

We enjoyed our stay! The property was clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located. One of the twin-bed bedrooms wasn't comfortable for the adult who was using it because of how the beds are set up, so they shared the other twin bedroom with another adult. A temporary sewer/gas smell from the nearby city repairs made it impossible to use the balcony or open the windows.

Very Happy with Our Week

Our adult family stayed at the property for a week and would stay here again! We were very happy with the cleanliness and the place overall and the bathrooms and kitchen were updated and new. While Balboa is not the quietest place in the morning, the windows were the best we’ve experienced at keeping the plane noise out. We appreciated the waters and snacks the host provided. Thanks!

Wonderful property!

We stayed at 8 on Onyx for a family trip with a 4 year old, teens, and adults and we had the best time! The location was perfect for shopping and going out to eat, the walk to the ferry was easy also. The property was beautiful, very clean and exactly as described in the posting. We loved everything about the property and will be staying again on our next trip to Balboa! Megan

Cheerful and roomy upstairs condo on Balboa Island just one block from the main drag. The unit was clean, spotless and very comfortable. We were sad to leave one day early due to high ocean waves the following day. It’s an occasional stop for us since we arrive by boat.

The perfect place

The accommodations worked so well for our family ranging in age from 4 months to seniors with a couple of teenagers thrown in. Every amenity was available, the decor was done to perfection, the location couldn't be better. We loved sitting on the balcony in beautiful CA sunshine and having our nightly Balboa bars. A great place for large families, we loved it and are coming back!

Facility was very nice. The only drawbacks were the stairs to upstairs unit and the access to the parking was very tight. We enjoyed our stay and closeness to Marine Street.

Beautiful Home

We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home. The decor was wonderful, the layout was ideal and it had everything we needed. We loved the balcony deck with rockers and how close it was to the marine ave, close to coffee in the morning and shopping on a whim. The beds we very comfortable and bathrooms clean and upscale. We woyld definitely come back to this home.
