Enchanting historical home with River View

There is just something about this house that can’t be described which made me want to share it with others. You will love the peaceful and relaxed setting.

Nestled on a hill in historical downtown Newburgh, this home built in 1862 has an undeniable charm. It’s perfectly situated to view the activities of a small quaint downtown along with scenes of the river. Downtown offers clothing boutiques, bakeries, specialty shops and restaurants all within walking distance.

Guests will enjoy the privacy of the entire home offering two full bedrooms (king and queen beds), full bath, kitchen, dining and living rooms. The home has been recently updated with an entirely new kitchen and bath. The loft is accessible via the king bedroom but unfurnished at this time...more bedrooms coming soon!

The kitchen is stocked with essential cookware for guests to enjoy and entertain during their stay. All of the basic needs are provided including dishwasher and laundry detergent, toilet paper and paper towels as well as some toiletries.

Wonderful property

Perfect stay!

Absolutely perfect stay in Newburgh! We used to live in the area and it was great to see the city again. I don’t know that I’ve ever been as satisfied by a vacation rental before. The home was immaculately clean and Brandy was so welcoming! I would definitely recommend the home to anyone looking for a stay in the area.

Charming Historical Home

Enjoyed our ten day stay near downtown Newburgh. The house has been beautifully updated and decorated with touches of when it was built. Gorgeous kitchen furnished with many small appliances and anything you might need. Nice comfortable beds. Proximity to walking to restaurants and the river walk was perfect. Hoping to stay there again. Loved it!

Perfect getaway

Spent a wonderful few days at this little gem! Very clean and welcoming. Everything is just as described. Our host Brandy was readily available to assist if needed. Wonderful Stay

This home was on a very quiet street. The interior has been beautifully updated. The beds were, for the most part, comfortable. Plenty of blankets and pillows were provided. The kitchen was stocked very well for our needs. The owner reponded with any questions I had very promptly and check out was so easy! We were in town for softball so we were in and out of the house often and there was plenty of room for 3 adults and 4 kids (including an infant). Really enjoyed the comfort of this home!

Great place and great location

This property is a diamond! It is a nice house with a nice yard. It is walking distance to the Ohio River and lots of places to eat, shop, and see. There are nice walking trails along the river. Every place we tried had top notch food. The house is well appointed for just about anything you would like to do. It is an old house with old house quirks and charms. We highly recommend it. When we return to the area we will stay here again!

Could not have been happier with my stay. A couple minor snags but the host was all over it and took care of it immediately. So comfortable and cozy. Quit little town I remember. It was winter and didn’t feel much like walking anywhere but everything was a stones throw away. Plenty of room for my family to stretch out it was a wonderful little place to stay will probably be a repeat customer for next year.

SUCH charm!

We were in town to visit friends. We are a family of 4 ranging from 7 to 47 years old. Everyone had their own space, but we LOVED the communal areas of the house! Great, cozy feel, enough room for our friends to join us at "our house" instead of always putting the onus on them to entertain us. The location offers quiet and a beautiful view along with easy access to whatever you would like to do. Brandy was very thorough with house details. When it is time to visit again, we will definitely be looking for this location!! Absolutely loved it!

The sidewalk and porch were full of leaves and debris. When starting to take a shower, the bottle of body wash was empty with no replacement Bathroom floor mats were dirty No hooks or towel bars to hang wet towels in the bathroom Half a roll of paper towels, could find more Freezer was dirty and the ice was old

Perfect location & house

We were in town for national softball tournament. This house was not far from the field or any activities we planned. We loved the quiet neighborhood and easy walk to shops and restaurants in Newburgh. Brandy was great and very responsive to our questions. We will definitely book again when in Newburgh/Evansville.

Great Place & Location

Great place to stay, very clean & fully stocked with things we needed for the trip (towels, shampoo, coffee, etc)! Safe & relaxed neighborhood, lovely little town right along the river. The house was recently renovated and looked great, plenty of space. Small inconvenience was the bathroom didn't have a lock on the doors. We had four people and used hats on the door handles to say "occupied". Brandy was excellent from start to finish, communication was fast and friendly. If we're back in town I'm definitely going to try and book this location again. 5/5 Stars!
