Not only does this small hotel provide exceptional service, but its prime location is truly unbeatable. Just a brief 4-minute stroll away from the captivating "Old Street," guests can effortlessly immerse themselves in the rich history and vibrant atmosphere of the area. The convenience of being so close to this iconic landmark added an extra layer of charm to my stay, allowing me to explore the cultural heart of the city with ease. I couldn't have asked for a better combination of comfort and accessibility.

"Good Times B&B was a very Good Time." I stayed in the room on the top floor with the view of the harbor. It is worth the walk up; it is only a five minute walk down the hill to one entrance of the Old Road - lots of shops as well as tea and eating spots. The breakfast was surprisingly delicious - not the typical American portion-sized, but adequate and sufficient to start the day. The coffee was superb. Parking a short walk away. The staff did not speak very good English (and I don't speak Chinese) but we made it work with sign language, key words, and smiles. I would stay here again.

Clean, good location, nice people, wifi issues

The owners are very friendly and helpful. They do their best, very little English. The home made food was good. Though sometime some wasted as they didn't ask what I wanted before serving. The picture on hotels.com shows a very fresh white painted building, it does not reflect the current state, it needs painting. VERY very clean hotel inside. Very big room with nice view. Great location to Old Street, close but VERY quiet. Only real big issue was internet. They need to address their firewall and speed. Could not use most of what I needed due to internet problems. I did find it a little overpriced for Taiwan hotel. Area in mountains for hiking just up from location is fantastic. Again nice owner / managers.

房間直接面海，Great view,離老街不算遠，5-10分鐘路程可到阿柑姨芋圓，變成由上往下逛，位置也不錯，host很熱心，會協助幫忙找車位，在九份可停車很加分

堅崎路(有名な階段通り)の最上部より、また5分ほど坂を登った先に位置する民宿。宿主のオジさんは英語が殆ど喋れず少し会話に苦労しましたが優しい方でした。帰りも瑞芳(Ruifang)駅までタクシーを手配頂けました。”TAXI ! Ruifang ! 14:00 !”と勢いでお願いして何とかなります。 部屋はバリタイプを選びました。最上階で、エレベーターはなし。階段が少々急勾配で上り下りが少し大変です。ただ、部屋からの眺めがとにかく素敵です。窓が広くて大きい。部屋も綺麗で空調もちゃんと効きます。シャワーも問題なし。 朝ごはんは1階でオバちゃんが一般家庭にある様なキッチンで作ってくれました。宿主が親戚か、仲間らしき人達と別テーブルで談笑していて、本当に民宿という感じがしました。田舎に泊まりにきた様で落ち着きました。九份観光するには良い立地です。目立つ看板は出てないので、最初発見するまで少し分かりづらいかも。あと、コンビニが近くにないです。総じて満足な滞在となりました。

Large rooms with great views

First the positive: the room was very large and had great views. Also had some great personality, had stepping stones in the front door. Also very convenient location to the market, though you will need a cab to get here. Not so good, had a broken light in the room, some of the lights in the ceiling did not seem to work, and generally the place needs a bit more attention. Also had a strange breakfast, they should offer more options. Staff very pleasant and tried hard here.

Nice View & excellent location

Stayed in Superior Double Room (Bali), the room is quite big with nice view. It's a good place to escape from city life. Before booking I do read up many reviews saying only 3 mins walk from old streets, indeed it is very near old street. But in details, it's quite a long journey if you are walking from the main entrance (7-11 side). So if you are carrying luggage, always listen to the host *take a cab* to their doorsteps. The breakfast is simple yet is nice. The host is very friendly and we enjoy chatting with them. Bed is too soft for my hubby. If they can add Bathroom Shelves Holder to put shampoos & shower gel will be good, at least we need not to bend up and down.

Hotel with friendly staff, great view and location

The experience was impeccable. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Local knowledge was very good and provided us with a lot of pointers on how to get to places and how to utilise our time. We felt like we had been taken care of by a family member. The hotel is very conveniently located to JiuFen old street. Basically everything was within walking distance. The view was amazing. We enjoyed a superb ocean view while being surrounded by the traditional and historical sceneries of JiuFen. The hosts made us breakfast and brewed us coffee in the morning. They also went ahead and helped us book a car to take us around JiuFen and nearby towns. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and will visit again!
