Cosy, quiet retreat.

Lovely place, one of the best we've stayed in in NZ. Clean, well equipped, quiet location and beautiful garden surrounds. We'll be back again whenever we're in New Plymouth.

Very comfortable accommodation.

Modern, comfortable, well appointed. Good communication with owners, when we wanted it otherwise non intrusive. Able to use pool if you wished. Slightly out of New Plymouth, but only a short drive in.Overall an excellent place to stay.

Tidy one bed, self catering unit with everything you need to be comfortable. Our young daughter enjoyed the grounds with the chickens, cows, swings and playhouse.

Perfect!

We loved this clean, quiet, comfortable unit, situated just outside the city centre. It was the perfect place from which to explore New Plymouth. It had everything we needed and the bed was comfy. Couldn't ask for more.

One of the best!

This modern Airbnb is a stand alone unit of high quality. It is situated in a lovely large garden. It contains everything you need. The Host is very approachable and nothing seems to be a problem. We loved it!

Beautiful unit

This property was set in a stunning garden setting with beautifully flowering roses when we were there. Sandra was amazing to deal with. The stand alone unit is very spacious and has the most comfortable bed. Just the right distance outside of New Plymouth but has gas stations, supermarkets etc close by.

Excellent stay!

This was a comfortable well kept base for our WOMAD weekend and very accurately described in the listing. Its a few kilometers out of town but once you are driving that's fine anyway. The entrance in and out onto a busy road is a little fraught but not impossible. Communication with Sandra was excellent and very helpful. We definitely recommend this stay.

Comfortable, spacious, well equipped and hosts super friendly.

We felt welcome and very much at home immediately. We were here fr business and the desk and large dining table were well utilised. Pretty Country setting with convenience of city amenities a short drive. Snow capped mountain view from the windows. Parking at door. Will be back !!

Superb stay for our family

Wonderful host, Sandra, welcomed us and offered milk (and the use of pool and spa). The unit is generously sized and fully equipped for us. Tasteful and quality furnishings. Super comfortable beds and linen. The heavy rain did not dampen our trip with Netflix, magazines and books. Beautiful and peaceful property. With just an easy 10-15min drive to NP centre. Small supermarket, pizza hut and couple of restaurants in Bell Block suburb for late night options.

Rosandra retreat.

Very peaceful place tho quite a way from NP. No milk provided for cup of tea on arrival . Also could do with a bedside light in lounge to read by. Extra signage on main road would be great. Quite hard to find especially at night. Otherwise all good.

Rosandra Retreat

Fantastic unit surrounded by a beautiful garden. Just outside New Plymouth in a lovely rural setting. The unit had everything that we needed. My girls loved the swimming pool and the very friendly cat. The reason I have given this 4 stars is that we were not made aware that there would be a caravan parked close to the unit as this property doubles as a small camping ground. I had to keep my kids away from the man staying on the other side of the driveway to us.

Hosts Ross and Sandra were great and their property was excellent. A 10-15 minute drive to New Plymouth but not bad at all.
