This home is an oasis in a busy city. It was far enough away from Bourbon street that we enjoyed peaceful evenings, and convieniently located near multiple modes of transportation, including the 12 trolley line that goes to the heart of the French Quarter. It was clean, the hosts were incredibly kind and generous, and was an ideal vacation rental. If i come back to NOLA, I would definitely want to stay here again
This is an ideal place for a single or a couple (who don't mind a double bed). The hosts made us feel so welcome with unexpected special touches like fresh flowers and chocolate.
The house was well appointed with all basic+ needs. Got very fast response prior/during our stay from the owners. Very walkable to several restaurants, coffee shop and shops. Kitchen was more than expected and a nice option to have. Very much enjoyed our stay!
Great location. Whole Foods, District Donuts, and Magazine Street shops are all in walking distance. Loved the apartment’s set up. Very comfortable. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
Property was as listed. Very cute, very clean, older home. Delightful area within walking distance to street car or bus and just a couple blocks to groceries and neighborhood restaurants/bars. Nice private outdoor patio to relax in. Quiet neighborhood.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
I’ve stayed at a dozen VRBO’s & am a landlord on that site also. This host was better than any other. She removed & replaced the outdoor cushions in the beautiful private garden area when it rained. Tried to fix the Firepit on the weekend.
My wife’s very picky about products and complimented her stocking the rental with top quality expensive toiletries including new toothbrushes and paste. I noticed the dozen new plush towels
Basically you feel like you’re in a hotel, not a VRBO. I’d give her 6 stars if I could!;)
This property is adorable. We loved it all. Kitchen is well equipped and comfortably-sized with a table and three chairs, and every other amenity needed. Coffee pods are provided for the Keurig as well as ample bottles of water, salt and pepper, plates, mugs. Bedroom very comfy; TV was well-loaded with apps; desk handy, and plenty of closet space. Beautiful secluded brick patio with very comfy seating and a fire pit, good lighting. Also, bonus for us as I don't like to take dirty clothes home - there is a washer and dryer. This place is well located - walkable to Whole Foods, a great wine shop, boutiques, hairdressers, nail place...we loved it. The host is also responsive and kind.
Property is in a fantastic location - easy walk to Audubon and Magazine St.. Area is a beautiful, quiet and safe residential neighborhood providing an authentic New Orleans experience. Although the unit is attached to main residence, the set-up allows for maximum privacy. We actually never saw or heard the homeowners. The garden patio is a lovely, quiet space that is well appointed with comfortable seating - very clean - well organized - If weather cooperates a great place for R&R after long walks. The hosts were very attentive to details and communicated via text making sure all questions answered and information shared about the "apartment" amenities. We appreciated the owners hospitality - fresh flowers on the dining table and kitchen well stocked with essential staples, coffee maker, dishes etc.Hosts provided bath soaps and lotions - in case toiletries left at home. Did not use - but nice to know available. We would definitely stay at this quiet, very clean and well organized location again. Highly recommend!Thank you Aladdin and Anne
This was the perfect place to lay our head while my partner and I traveled to New Orleans for a wedding. Great neighborhood. As someone who grew up there, staying in the heart of Uptown New Orleans is always beautiful. The host was communicative and helpful. Really well suited for a solo traveler or couple. Thank you for the lovely stay!
So cute and authentic old New Orleans
Exactly as photographed
Owners very easy to communicate with
I’ve stayed twice so far and it always brought me joy
We had a great stay. Admittedly not in the room much, but it was clean and nice. The bathroom and kitchen were well appointed and the property host was a great communicator. The patio was gorgeous but we were so tired after jazz fest, we never used it.
From the beginning to end of our stay our experience was great. Finding the property, parking and obtaining the key all went smoothly. We were able to get settled in quickly and relax. The location allowed us to walk to several yummy restaurants and shops (even in the August heat). While there is a Whole Foods very close we enjoyed Langenstein’s Grocery Store a few blocks further that had everything we needed including some fabulous prepared foods. Aladdin was very attentive and prompt in his communications. The property is wonderfully New Orleans, extremely charming. I loved the history of the architecture. We were very comfortable and had everything that we needed. Staying here made dropping our son off for his first year at Loyola so much easier.
Hosts were very accommodating, and the upstairs space is bright with shielded (private) windows and great separation between the comfortable bedroom and well supplied kitchen. Very close to restaurants and shopping on Magazine. It was too cold for the patio this visit but the gas and string lighting upon the brickwork set a great mood to relax. Hope to return soon.
I enjoyed my stay in this charming space. Everything was perfect.
The owner was very quick to respond to questions I had.
The space was well stocked with essentials in the kitchen and bathroom.
The neighborhood was safe and conveniently located near Whole Foods and other shops.
When I return, I will stay there again and recommend it to my friends.
This was a great location and accommodation for our trip to New Orleans. Wifi was sufficient for us to do some work while we were there, amenities were thoughtful and high-quality. The surrounding neighborhood is safe, charming and convenient for eating and shopping very locally, as well as for getting around town. The only thing that we did not love is that the exercise machine in the bedroom is a bit awkward to move around, and if you wear glasses, be aware that only one side of the bed has a surface for placing them overnight. However, we knew about these things at time of booking, and were able to work around them. All in all, we highly recommend staying here, and look forward to returning.
Just spent eights days of R&R at this finest-kind sweet suite, most comfortably eclectic. The description provided is quite accurate, and the neighborhood recommendations spot-on. Weather was both hot and cold during my stay; AC & heating worked great as needed. Kitchen fine for cooking when not eating out (I made jambalaya, broiled steaks, & a pork rib roast).
I decided not to rent a car, and instead put the money toward food & wine {Correction: WINE & food...} Surrounding area incredibly walkable. Used public streetcar and bus routes to get all around city easily & inexpensively. Rather than cab it, I even used the 202 RTA bus to quickly get to/from MSY to downtown for $1.50.
Thanks again to Aladdin & Anne for allowing a wayward New Englander to abandon his wife & cat for a restorative stay.
