Seclusion with all the amenities of home including internet and satellite tv. Consumer Cellular worked great here also. If you are wanting to disconnect for a while, this is the place. The hosts could not be more welcoming. Thank you Frank and Sheila for sharing your beautiful cabin!

This was the most peaceful, beautiful place to stay! An excellent choice for getting away from the chaos and only a short drive to Glenwood springs. We will definitely be coming back. The view from the porch is amazing. Sheila is an excellent host and makes sure you have everything you need. The cabin is very clean and had plenty of space for us and our three kids.

Incredible secluded escape!

This place is more amazing than it looks! The views are wonderful, the location is so quiet and peaceful and the hosts are so kind and easy to communicate with. Wish we could have stayed longer!

It is such a quiet peaceful retreat. Sunsets were beautiful. We were there in the heat of July so the house was quite warm. The nights cooled down a little bit. The owners are present on the ranch so they were available to answer questions. I will definitely return.

Beautiful Mountain Stay

This is a beaurtiful place with breathtaking views. Sheila was a wonderful host and extremely accomodatng. We had arrived very late at night and she still met us and showed us the way to the property. We hope to rent this property again when we visit Glenwood Springs. 5 out of 5 starts for everything.

Quiet retreat

Perfect home if you want to get away from the bustle of a busy vacation season. It was so quiet and so peaceful. It is a bit of a drive if you're planning a lot of activities in town but it was worth it to us.

Great Stay

We were here on a hunt with family and friends. This beautiful home is spacious and comfortable. Very quiet which was perfect for us to enjoy the views, hike, and hunt. It is also spotless!

Absolutely perfect!

Glenwood is the middle point for our friends and this house was absolutely perfect. It had all the items we needed for cooking, the view was breathtaking and the beds were comfy! I absolutely recommend staying here. We will be back!!

The BEST getaway location!!!

I can not say enough good about the entire process - from booking, to communication from the host, to the environment - all top rate!!!! The home is gorgeous and spacious - exactly as described and shown on the VRBO site. The host texted a few days ahead to communicate specific directions, and even met us to lead us to exact location. Overall, a perfect weekend!!

Best cabin on Earth

This is a beautiful cabin, located on a working ranch. The views are amazing, as are the hosts. We will definitely stay here again. The pictures do not do justice. This cabin is secluded and awesome. Loved seeing the Elk every morning from back porch as I enjoyed my coffee. Also, amazing sunsets.

Wonderful!

What a wonderful getaway. I decided to rent this property for a long weekend based on others' positive reviews, and it was exactly what we were looking for. The location, although off the beaten path, was a welcome change of pace from busier areas along I-70. It was also easy proximity to several state parks in the area. And Shelia was extremely welcoming and helpful! The place was beautiful and well stocked in terms of kitchen cooking utensils, towels, sheets, etc. (everything you would need). We felt really fortunate to get to stay in such a nice home and my two nieces loved exploring the property.

Such an amazing stay!

We loved this place so much! It is off the beaten path quite a ways - as it says, you are deep within a cattle ranch property - but that was just what we were looking for. Lots of peace and quiet with beautiful views - even saw a herd of elk with babies down by one of the ponds onsite. Sheila the hostess was a treat to work with and came to the end of the driveway late at night to help us navigate the property to where we were staying to make sure we got settled in well. We also got to see her and her team herd some cows, which my teens enjoyed. The home was even prettier in person and quite spacious, more so than I thought it appeared online. There was a grill onsite and several pans so we were able to cook a few meals there too. We will definitely stay again next time we’re in the area!

Amazing views!

This was such a lovely place and great communication from the owner. The views are amazing. It’s a long and slow drive to the house, so be prepared with all you need. The owner met us at the main road to lead us to the house a few miles up. There’s no AC, which we didn’t realize since it wasn’t called out on the listing, but with the windows open overnight it was not bad. The main bedroom bed frame rocks and squeaks quite a bit so we used an extra mattress on the floor. It was doable but not ideal since it’s a lovely room. It was a great experience in a beautiful mountain home. They have filtered water, the wifi and cell service worked well, the kitchen has everything you need, and it’s very spacious. It sure could use some rocking chairs and a table/outdoor sofa on the back porch for that spectacular view of the sunset!! We had a lovely (huge) bull visitor in the driveway and saw a huge large group of elk. If you want a quiet getaway, this is a great option!
