Compact but comfortable

"I booked a compact room usually these are very small but comfy. This was downstairs with only 1 other room close by. Spacious quiet and comfortable. Also cool which was nice as its unusually warm in Buxton. The piano playing in the lobby is a lovely touch"

Lovely hotel, bang average food

"The hotel itself is lovely. The welcome cookie was a nice touch. The food in the bar/restaurant though was not good. I ordered the salmon salad - salmon was tasty but the rest was pretty poor for a hotel of this overall quality."

"For a budget hotel, this is a great choice. The rooms are small but cleverly designed so that you have everything you need. The lighting makes the rooms feel very cosy. The room was incredibly clean. The staff were friendly and incredibly hard working. It was a lovely stay."
