They also advised the restaurant across the road were still serving food. I opted for the cheese board and was not disappointed. Lovely selection of stilton cheeses, biscuits and onion pickle.
The hotel room I stayed was is in a period part of the property so had all of the lovely quirky bits (uneven floor, creaking wood, etc.). It was a large room and all was very clean. The room included Nespresso coffee machine and you could order fresh milk. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet.
Breakfast was a good selection of cooked meals and continental (cereals and fruit). The food was served quickly and it was tasty.
Would recommend staying in the hotel. "
