「Avoid this property. I moved to VRBO after a similar experience with a competitor's property. I did not do research. National City is down scale compared to San Diego. Navigating to the property, a block away, we saw three sex workers standing by a liquor store just down from a smoke shop. Streets and sidewalks were riddled with cracks. 「For the most part we enjoyed our stay. The property owner was quick to respond, address any needs, and accommodating with requests. Parking can be challenging and other residents did not abide to quiet hours. Was surprised that there wasn't any air-conditioning, but that was an oversight on our behalf, as its not listed as an amenity provided.」

「The room was stained of cigarette smell and there were cigarette holes in the sheets. There were also holes in the curtains patched up with duct tape and the floor felt dirty. I felt unclean sleeping in the sheets.」
