"Nice downtown location. Convenient access to the Van Andel Arena. Great parking structure for an additional fee. All staff extremely friendly. We had a very spacious room but it felt outdated with items showing a lot of wear and outlets not having USB or C charging stations. A lot of odd and different smells throughout the hotel. The bathroom was dark and not very clean. There was trash in the bathroom when we checked in. Water pressure was low. Overall it was decent place for what we needed. "

"Our first room had a sink leak; the hotel changed our room, thankfully.. but our second room had a broken bath tub that was not draining, was detached from the wall and under flooded and was flooding the floors. There was dirt on handles, and lights, our floor was wet by the window, there was smoke holes in the curtain shower, and the paint in the bathroom was seeping and pulling away and just awful looking overall. The beds were suited nicely, however the sheets smelt like they hadn’t been washed and smelt like BO…. One of the most awful places I have stayed. Would not recommend. "

"We picked the hotel for the location and the character. It was good for that, but the rest of the experience was not great. The television didn't work so we had to get the front desk. Even after getting help, it only partially worked and it was difficult to change the channels. The parking was weird. Though parking was attached to the parking garage, you could not use your hotel key to open the door after hours so you still had to go outside to get back in. We asked for towels and for the bed to be changed. Since we didn't give them 24 hours notice, they did not change the bed, and no one got our towels until we followed up with them. I have no idea what the city was working on outside, but they were working way past midnight and super early in the morning. It was hard to sleep. If you need a big room and two sinks, it was great for that. "
