The airfryer and induction element along with the toaster oven would allow you to cook a full roast chicken dinner with all the fixings. Lovely spot. Comfortable king bed. You can use the patio overlooking the ocean. Very quiet neighborhood. A small oceanside park foour minutes walk. Do check out the Rusty Rake for an exceptional dinner. Thanks Brad."

"The place was exactly as shown in the photos. The suite doesn’t have an ocean view but it’s very quiet and relaxing. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the walk to the beach. The outdoor hot tub and indoor pool were great. The check in and check out process was smooth and easy."

"Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable and the air conditioning was spot on. The breakfast had many choices and was delicious. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. I did have a problem with the ecological policy of the hotel. In the bathroom there was the explanation about saving water and protecting the environment. Unfortunately, in other areas of the hotel there was no "green policy" evident. The toiletries provided were in very very small plastic bottles which are discarded after one use. We already have too much plastic waste in our environment. Surely large dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash could reduce the amount of plastics being discarded. Also, many hotels use real plates, cups, glasses and cutlery in the dining area as well as in the rooms. Single use plastics (the cutlery) are a hazard to the environment and the paper plates and cups should have been recycled, not just dumped into one garbage can. It is important that we take care of our land in order for the next generation to enjoy our beautiful natural spaces. Reduce, reuse and recycle are the three Rs we should all be practising every day. "We only were able to stay for 1 night, but would have loved to stay longer. Incredibly scenic with many activities to choose from. The room was fantastic and comfortable, and any issue we encountered was dealt with very quickly. Communication with the host was excellent, though there were some very minor discrepensies in instructions from the emails to what we saw in the messages written in the room. I feel that anyone respecting the space would not be confused or at a loss for the appropriate and expected behaviors. We had a wonderful stay"

"We stayed here with our 2 preteens and there was comfortable space for all of us. The space is bigger than the pictures look. The kitchen had everything we needed. The view of the water was impressive and access to the beach was mere steps away. The location was perfect. It was a quick drive to Englishman River Falls, Rathtrevor Beach, Parksville, etc. Our hosts Gina and Rick made us feel welcome and well cared for. We would definitely stay here again."

"The location of this property was perfect for our little family. We prefer something a little quieter on vacation and this was quiet and peaceful, yet still extremely accessible to both Parksville and Nanoose Bay towns. Further, it was a 2 minute walk to a beautiful rocky beach. We had a wonderful time putting our feet in the ocean and exploring. They also have access to amenities for adults and children such as a playground, kids pool, and hot tub. The actual unit was small but cute and clean. The king bed was very comfortable. The only small thing was the outdoor patio was private, but no view of outside. Otherwise, check in was smooth, our host was attentive and communicative, and we would definitely stay here again!"
