The good the bad and the ugly about The Quay F4: Good: Location was excellent and let’s be honest when you to the OBX location is the whole point. The townhome is right against a dune and the walk to the beach is less than 5 minutes. The check-in process was seamless. The bad: While the property is right next to the dune and the oceanfront there is no view from the townhome itself which was mildly disappointing. The mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced it hurt both my wife and I’s back were hurting in the morning. If we come back we would have to bring a mattress topper. The ugly: The Village Realty is not customer friendly and was almost impossible to communicate with. With everything said I’m not sure I will come back because of the lack of communication with the host and the mattress being so painful.

This was the perfect location-steps from the pool and beach with many restaurants and shopping nearby. Condo was clean and beds were comfy. Just be aware, there are no beach towels or items at the condo. You will need to rent or bring everything.

Quick trip

We had a great stay here! Girlfriends on a short beach weekend together. Plenty of space, beds were comfy. Couldn’t see the beach from our rooms/deck but we were right on the beach. (Large sand dune between our place and beach) We were right beside stairs to the beach, so it was easy to get to/from.
