This cute cottage is located on a corner lot just two blocks away from a public beach access. Enjoy afternoons reading on the sun porch, relaxing on the beautiful beaches of the Atlantic Ocean or playing with the family dog in the yard! Osprey is very well-maintained and tastefully decorated. The central location near restaurants, shopping, and other area attractions is ideal for groups who want the full Outer Banks experience.
**Please note that the VRBO service fee will be instantly charged upon booking by VRBO but all rents, host fees, and taxes will be processed by Cola Vaughan Realty within 24 hours of booking and Cola Vaughan Realty will handle all of the details of your stay**
**Please note that linens (sheets and towels) are NOT included. If you do not want to bring your own linens, we can refer you to a local linen rental service that will deliver and pick up at your property. Bedspreads and pillows are included.**

Cute home and nicely decorated. Great location. Quick walk to beach or nearby coffee shop. Shower downstairs for those sandy days. Nice porch on front of home as well to rest and relax. Overall great experience!

Driveway?!

Overall a nice clean property that had a lot more at the cottage than the listing stated. Mostly good, but several points for future renters to consider.1. Driveway! No driveway or hard standing to park. We travelled in a single vehicle but more than one would be a problem. Question....where to park? Road parking is not permitted. 2. Bedroom 2, double mattress. Awful, no support. We did not sleep well all week.3. Kitchen. A lot of kitchen utensils needed washing before use, inc. pots, pans, crockery. A lack of large and small plates. No kettle (water boiler). WD40 needed on kitchen drawers.4. Corporate agent. Having booked many places with VRBO, the use of a corporate agent made it all very impersonal. The lack of chat with the owner made it all formal and imposing. The agent stated the security camera was used to monitor the property. Given the only camera points at the only way in to the house, this was quite Orwellian in it's impression.5. Sheets and towels. This is quite unusual nowadays to have to bring your own. Be aware it's a queen, a double and twins.6. BBQ. Unusable.Positives.1. Don't pack your car with unnecessary beach stuff. There's lots there.2. It has deck chairs, body boards, an umbrella and posts as well as every type of cooler, including a fishing cooler with beach tires. And some fishing rods. 3. Outdoor facilities such as washing room, shower, storage very well done.4. Interior design was very nice too.

Great stay

Supper cute house with lots of extras. Loved having my morning coffee on the sun porch with all the windows open. Tons of beach supplies (chairs, coolers, toys) under the house. The laundry room and outside shower were A. Only thing I would suggest would be to add some mirrors in the bedrooms. Even if it’s just a door mirror.

It was perfect! Exactly what we were hoping for

My son and I spent the week in Osprey and we loved it. Very cozy which we hoped for; also quite fresh and modernized while still being a classic with plenty of charm. The living room is comfortable, bathroom updated, screen porch really nice, kitchen and eating area also great. And bedrooms very nice. Also we loved the location! bike or walk to the Food Lion, and quick sprint to Jockey's Ridge. Oh, and the beach at the end of a neighborly 3-minute walk is Spectacular. We would love to stay here again!

Nice house but....

It was a nice property located in an area near everything but the air vent in the hallway was extremely dirty. Also the shower had mold upon arrival that we had to clean.

Great Stay!

Nice, clean house. Some of the light switches are in weird spots and hard to find like the one that is basically behind the fridge. DVD player in listing but we didn’t see one. Loved the outdoor shower and screened in porch. Close, easy walk to beach. TV could be updated, had a few technical issues with it. Check in was easy. House equipped with lots of kitchen and beach accessories which was great. Beds comfortable. Would stay again!
