This is a great space right on the water with an open kitchen, dining and living space, which was great for hanging out even when we had downpours. There were four bedrooms upstairs which we very roomy, and would be perfect for a bigger family. As is typical with the area, there is not cable or internet, so we drove up to Escanaba and got some DVDs at the...

"This was a perfect place to get away for the weekend and just enjoy the outdoors. So much land and space to ourselves. We had a group of 15 and did so many activities like kickball, volleyball, water guns. We made the best out of the place and the town was about 20 minutes of a drive. "

"Went up for a funeral and it was the perfect place to stay however we had 6 adults ranging in ages from 60’s to 93 and when we arrived we found that the “3rd bedroom “ was in the cold, damp unfinished basement. Had we known this before we probably would have stayed somewhere else. Perfect place but needs to be advertised as 2 bedroom."

"The house was wonderful and had everything that you would needed to cook. We usually ate breakfast and dinner at the house. There are pots and pans, plates and even spices that are there for your use. The house was very comfortable and inviting. We brought our own kayaks, but if you don’t have any, there are 4 on the property to use. We grilled out a few times and we spent a lot of time on the deck watching the river and the deer that would be across the river. It was so peaceful and Steve and Audra were very nice. "A Perfectly Relaxing Getaway Our stay at this VRBO was incredibly relaxing, a true escape! If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, this is absolutely the place. We really enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere and had a wonderful, quiet stay.Even though the weather wasn't ideal for the lake, we still managed to get in the water, and our 6 and 8-year-olds had a blast. The shallow depth, knee-high for at least 200 yards, made it perfect for them to play safely. A truly magical highlight was seeing a bald eagle hanging around and hunting during our stay.This place was already perfect for us, but if it had kayaks and a picnic table, it would easily be a 6 out of 5 stars! We'd love to come back."

"This is a nice cozy cabin that feels like it's in the deep woods while still being easy to access. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed. It was very clean as well. There is a great fire pit sitting in the shade of the tall trees surrounding the property. We had a great time. I would definitely recommend staying here. We went to Dave's falls, which is a beautiful park recommended to us by the host. It's a short drive from the cabin. Bring a swimsuit if you go."
