It was good. However we had no garbage bags at all when we got there. And no extra towels even though it said extra towels under sink. But other than that we loved it and would come back.

Second Stay at Blue Wave
This was our second time at the Blue Wave for a guys weekend. Great 5 BR home. Kitchen and living area co-located to facilitate conversation, with comfortable seating. We'll be back!

Beautiful house right on the beach
This house is smaller than many beach houses but still has all the essentials and lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. It’s been recently remodeled and we loved the finishings. If you want to be on the beach, this is a great choice. So close to the water. We were able to dolphin watch from inside the house (bring binoculars for the best view). Loved how clean it was on arrival and the fact that all beds were made up and ready for sleeping!
The hot water heater was real wonky and didn’t work right at all but hopefully an easy fix as showering in the winter in cold water is not too enjoyable. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay!

Perfection!
The Blue Wave was a wonderful location and house! The beach was wide and pristine. It was so nice to check in and have the beds made. It is a very comfortable house and a great kitchen. I would definitely rent this house again!

Excellent beachfront location
We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Wave, the beachfront location was perfect and the quality of the beach itself is excellent.
The house was as-described in the listing and the check-in/check out process was easy. The grocery store is only 5 minute drive away which was convenient.
The kitchen was adequately stocked, but you will need to provide more trash bags and dishwashing detergent.
The only drawbacks to the house were that it could become cramped, especially if you have little kids. There are no common/play areas except for the small living room on the main floor. The back deck was nice to sit and eat, but also a bit small.
Please note there is NOT an outdoor grill which was surprising for a beach rental house. However, there are multiple companies you could rent one from if needed.
I'd recommend this house for a group of adults or families with older kids, since there is not much room for babies or toddlers to crawl around.

Perfect Oceanfront Rental!
This property lived up to it's description and more. The space was clean, stocked well and had great beds. The kitchen counter was perfect for serving food to a large group of Kids & Adults. The distance to the beach was amazing and the outside hose and shower was a life saver. I would absolutely recommend this place and stay there again in the years to come.

Amazing!!
We had 7 adult women stay and it was perfect! Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The views were gorgeous and the fact that you can walk off your back deck and be on the beach was a dream!! We walked miles on the beach during the day and ate fabulous food for dinner over at Murrels Inlet. Maybe a 5-7 min drive. There’s a close grocery store, shopping, ice cream shops, and plenty of restaurants. We will definitely be back! We may make this an annual trip with our friend group as well as bringing our own families back here. Such a nice area!

The perfect family beach home!
We absolutely loved everything about Blue Wave home. It was just the 5 of us staying here ( 2 adults, 3 kids) so the house was perfect with lots of space for the kids. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable, water pressure in the shower was perfect, lots of hot water, house cooled down fast and warmed up fast, the kitchen had everything we needed, house was very clean, lots of towels, soaps, shampoos and conditioners were provided.
The pictures in the listing are accurate, the view and access to the beach is amazing. The house has beach toys, 2 beach chairs, 2 boogie boards (small and large), and extra blankets for the cooler nights. Vacasa really thought of everything that could be needed. We just had to get groceries, which was super easy as there is a grocery store nearby.
Customer service was excellent and very responsive during my vacation planning and during my stay.
The TV had some issues but the internet was very good. The kids were on their iPad mostly so not a big deal for us.
I really loved that Vacasa didn't require me to do dishes or laundry on check out as it is already so hectic to get everyone and everything out of the house by 10am. They kindly texted to load dishwasher and take out all bagged trash (again an ask only with a please if i had time) which was not an issue for us as i don't leave rentals messy. They also didnt rush me out of the home, as I was delayed by 30 mins. I would definitely recommend the Blue Wave and would rent from Vacasa again. Wonderful experience!
