「This is restful bush retreat with an environmental consciousness. A place to turn off your screens and look out onto lovely pastural views and observe the natural environment outside your door. The units are clean, bright and comfortable with the door open to fresh air. I enjoyed my tea n’ toast outside listening to the morning birdsong. Great coffee / bakery a few mins drive. Bring a good book and your walking shoes! 」

「We really enjoyed our stay at Wildwood Guest House in Mudgee. The setting was peaceful and the slow combustion fire was absolutely fantastic — perfect for a cosy evening. Unfortunately, there was no TV, which was a bit disappointing, especially as the listing mentioned Wi-Fi, but it wasn’t available. If you don’t have it, you really shouldn’t say you do. That said, the host Rob was fantastic — welcoming, helpful, and a real highlight of the stay.」

「We had the best stay here at the Telegraph Station. It was beautiful, it was clean and comfortable, the decor was lovely! It had a lovely vibe! The reception staff lady was lovely, accomodating and friendly.」

「We as a group of 7 had a wonderful stay at Summit Ridge. Ann and Keith are excellent hosts, who genuinely care for the comfort of your stay. The lodge appears recently renovated, with no detail spared in the rooms - from hooks to hang your jackets, to dressing gowns to wear to the spa downstairs. The dinner in the restaurant was top-notch, with a choice of 2 or 3 courses of quality fare and a very good wine list. 「Our stay was wonderful although the heating was not very good considering orange is a cold place and our room was freezing with the oil heater going. Other than that our stay was great. Would have liked to meet the owners and actually talk over the phone instead of text messages. 」
