I'm so excited we chose to stay here. Not only was the price point solid, but the quality of our stay was wonderful and left us well rested. The bed was super comfortable, showers were hot with great water pressure, it was quiet early in the night even with it on a main road, clean and well cared for, and the location was perfect for getting around. We even ran late and the front desk had a plan in case we missed them to check in. Will absolutely stay again.

We stayed at the Continental Inn for two nights and it was a wonderful experience. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. It didn't have that plastic feel like a chain hotel. We will definitely stay there again.

I wanted to introduce a guest of mine to Michigan. The Crooked River Lodge was the perfect place to do this.
Situated on the Crooked River, the Lodge had nearby trails, a great indoor pool and jacuzzi, as well as a roaring fire in the fireplace and an outdoor fire pit as well.
Very comfortable with nearby restaurants serving fresh perch and whitefish from Lake Michigan. I would definitely return for another visit.

Beautiful cabin, very clean. Loved the showers, and especially loved the heat lamp/fan in the Master Suite. Calm week listening to the river from the balcony or back deck. Nights are so quiet and you can see all the stars! My kids and dog had a blast running around, enjoying nature/hiking. You don't get that in the city. We plan on returning!

I should start by saying my boyfriend and I are VERY particular about hotels and had yet to find one we loved in Mackinaw City. Well that was until we found this!! I could not have asked for a better stay. Staff was amazing from the moment we arrived. It has the small mom and pop feel and is truly so cozy! Cleanliness was 10/10. I would recommend any and anyone to stay here.

We have known about Stafford's Bay View Inn from our trips "up north" over the 30 years but never stayed there. That was our mistake before but never again.
The staff was friendly, charming and very accommodating. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The view of the bay was delightful and allowed us to enjoy the sunset and sunrise. This was our 2nd year in a row visiting Mackinaw and both trips, stayed at the Comfort Inn. What a great hotel. The beds are beyond comfortable, the view is amazing, and that staff is always so friendly. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. You won't be disappointed!

Our stay was amazing. The lobby area was warm and welcoming. There were huge fireplaces and comfy chairs to just sit and relax. The grounds were spectacular. We loved the Adirondack chairs out on the expansive lawn and on the shore of Lake Huron. We felt like we were back in time when life was not so hectic. We stayed in the main lodge, where of course the rooms were smaller, But it was cozy, bed was so comfortable, and the bathroom was lovely.
