Bonneville Hot Springs Resort & Spa

"I cannot say enough good things about this place. My husband and myself brought our two kids on a west coast road trip and didn’t want to spend a fortune on hotels, Bonneville Resort was reasonably priced and although we were hopeful from the photos, we weren’t expecting what we got. When we arrived, we weren’t met with the most beautiful hotel lobby/common area, friendly staff, cute gift shop and amenities were included in the reasonable cost! The hotel room was amazing, very clean, hairdryer was awesome. Shower was great and the bed was super comfy. We had dinner in the restaurant. I would say it was a little overpriced for what it was and the serving staff seemed a little uncomfortable. However, we had a great visit overall! Because of the time that we arrived, we were unable to use the amenities that night however, we did use the pool the following morning and that was also beautiful. It definitely was like staying at a resort, robes were provided in the rooms so you didn’t have to do that awkward thing of walking around the hotel in a towel. The front desk staff were so friendly and welcoming. One of my kids went downstairs to get some candy at one point and felt right at home going alone. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and would definitely stay again. Thanks Bonneville Resort for making our stay so enjoyable."

"The room was very nice and had the best view of the river and the Bridge of the Gods. Loved the balcony. The woman at the front desk was so very nice. She went out of her way to help us. Room was clean and breakfast excellent. The breakfast was free and could be ordered from the restaurant next door, just could walk over to get lunch or breakfast. The only problem was the restaurant closes at 2pm, so dinner options are hard to find in Cascade Locks. We went to the local market and bought microwave meals for dinner."
Cousins Country Inn

"The restaurant and Inn are unique. My room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The fridge and microwave were old, but in working condition. Staff was very welcoming. Location was excellent. My only issue was the WiFi. It wouldn’t connect and the night staff told me it was an issue with Spectrum. When I complained again at checkout, the morning staff told me it was the room location and I should have gone to the lobby (which was a separate building, but at least I could have used it if I had known that the night before). I would definitely recommend as long as you have unlimited data."
Carson Hot Springs Resort

"My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay and Pria was wonderful with the therapeutic massages. The only thing we wish the resort would consider improving on is the coffee. Living in the northwest, coffee is a big deal. We had hoped to see a coffee bar or we could get our morning latte. We were both disappointed to find that there was only pre-brewed coffee in a carafe in the lobby. We did have small coffee makers with the prepackaged coffee in our rooms but again that was just an ordinary drip coffee. The lobby coffee was OK, but it would’ve just taken the experience up one more notch by having a nice latte in the morning. The only reason I scored four stars instead of five was because of the coffee. Maybe the next time we visit we’ll be able to give five stars."
