We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean, beds very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, the whole place was nicely furnished. We enjoyed hanging out in the backyard in the evenings. Nice quiet, family neighborhood. Great location, close to Charleston, the beaches, and Shem Creek. Check in process was easy and the owner was very responsive to questions. Would love to return some day for another stay.

It really is a beautiful townhome that was perfect for our trip. Having individual AC units in each bedroom really allowed us to control the temperature to our preference. Plenty of parking space for us. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the back patio space due to the weather, but it would have been a great space to relax and hang out. The master bathroom was perfect (love the two shower heads). The TV in the guest bedroom wouldn't work without signing in/up for a Walmart account, but that wasn't a big issue at all, as there were other TVs. You can tell a lot of work has been put into this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Close to beaches, downtown Charleston and Shem Creek. The home is beautiful and the outdoor space is lovely. There is so much see and do in this area that the only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! . Highly recommend the property and its location .

Wonderful place to stay! We stayed a week with our 2 kids ( 3 years and 1 year old). Quiet and nice neighborhood. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the small backyard with the grill. Grocery stores are very close and it was an easy drive (15 min) to downtown Charleston and Sullivan’s island. Host is very responsive

Beautiful HQ

Lowcountry Retreat is a gorgeous, tastefully decorated and well-appointed townhouse that we ( almost) didn’t want to leave to tour the Charleston area. Very well situated, it’s just a short drive to Sullivan’s Island, the heart of Charleston, etc. Great kitchen and dining area! Excellent livingroom and comfortable bedrooms. Plus, the great outdoor fireplace and cushy seating on the patio. Highly recommend this spot if you’re visiting the area.

Beds comfortable, nice neighborhood and close to everything Would definitely choose to stay here again and recommend to others All the special touches to really help you enjoy the area beaches and information on restaurants etc Only note is there is ZERO pantry basics (salt, pepper, cooking spray, etc) located in the unit So if you plan to fix a meal make sure you get what you need at the store. However on a positive note …if you need them the store is just moments away!

Our second stay in this apartment. One of the best-equipped properties we've rented (linens, kitchen, bathrooms). Soft but comfortable beds. Excellent layout on first floor. Very accessible and responsive host. Property as advertised, but we didn't use patio fireplace or grill because of weather.

Fabulous weekend with family.

This home was perfect for our quick weekend in Mt. Pleasant/Charleston before my college students head back to school. We spent one day in downtown Charleston and two days on the beach (1 each at IOP and Sullivan’s). Note: bedrooms are 1 King and 2 Queen rooms. The house is well stocked for cooking in but is also close to everything. Groceries nearby. The outdoor patio area is nice. Owners were good communicators.
