"My son and I were very pleased to have found this superb historic small hotel. We were very pleasantly and genuinely welcomed, the room was superb, nice decor and high ceilings. Comfortable bed with comfy pillows and very quiet. I haven't slept so well in ages. Lovely old world breakfast / dining room. This will be our go-to in Cooma and will be highly recommended to friends & family. A rare find. Thanks, Dave."

"My wife and I were positively surprised by the quality of the Altair Motel. Checkin was simple and efficient, the room was spacious, clean and well appointed, the kitchenette included a microwave oven and two rings on the hob and the bathroom was modern with a walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable too. All in all, the motel deserves a 5 star rating from me."

"Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable with table and chairs along with a large lounge suite. Quiet from road noise. Room contained all the requirements you need in bowls, plates, wine glasses and mugs ect. Microwave also in room along with toaster and tea and coffee facilities. Check in fast and easy with Emily being friendly and courteous. Highly recommend. We stayed in a King room. Couple."

"Wonderful Stay at Janaki FarmsWe had an absolutely wonderful stay at Janaki Farms in Cooma with five families. The property is massive, beautifully located, and comfortably accommodated all of us without feeling crowded.The location was beautiful and peaceful, and the facilities were exceptional. The Wi-Fi, amenities, and everything else we needed made our stay very comfortable. Most importantly, the host was amazing—welcoming, helpful, and made us feel right at home.Janaki Farms is a fantastic place for a large group or family getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Cooma! "

"Water was hot. Bed was very comfortable. Although there was no milk left in the room, but that is a minor detail. I could have gone to reception to get some but I was too tired. Other than that is was a very good stay. Staff were great, helpful and friendly. We will stay there again in our travels. But I think the driveway really needs attention."
