Top Mooneba Hotel Reviews

Colonial Court Motor Inn

8/10 Good

"The room was comfortable and a good supply of tea or coffee making facilities. There was some mildew in the shower and bathroom vanity. The parking out the front of the room was very spacious. It was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. If I had known before hand I would have asked for an end room that has a balcony facing the river! Nice place to sit and relax."

Crescent Head Beach House

10/10 Excellent

"We travelled with our adult daughter and 2 dogs and loved Lynne's house. Very welcoming and comfortable, especially the beds and linen. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved the BBQ on the wrap around verandah. View was amazing. Able to walk to the beach in 10 minutes, a bit challenging walking back up the hill. The bedrooms upstairs were quite hot as not air-conditioned, but fans were provided. The only thing that disappointed was that the spa bath didn't work, and the wet weather (which is out of everyone's control!)Would definitely recommend and hope to return."

Coast & Country Cabin 4

10/10 Excellent

"This location is stunning. Surrounded by a river, pond, green paddocks and mountains in the distance. Apparently, though I missed it there is a pod of dolphins that swim by at 5.30 in the morning. I sat and reflecte on the verandah and was very comfortable in the cabin. Not a fishing person, but toured conveniently to South west rocks, hat head and crescent head. Met up with friends in Kempsey. I recommend it for all nature lovers."

Red Cedar HideAway - Enjoy the beach and the tranquility of nature at its best !

10/10 Excellent

"This is my second visit and I'll be back. The house has a fantastic kitchen, very comfortable living area, and lovely view from the rear deck. The beds are comfortable and area is pretty quiet. A very relaxing stay. Close to beach and facilities. Cassie and Jeff are wonderful hosts. They provide lots of basics and a few very nice extras.Strongly recommended."

Crescent Head Holiday Park

8/10 Good

"My husband and I love Crescent Head and the location of the caravan park and have stayed there many times.I booked a Lakeside cabin with queen bed and double bed for two nights but our cabin had adouble bed and triple bunks. We accepted the booking because it was only two nights and we were meeting up with friends but because we are older and I have mobility issues we did not sleep well and the shower had no pressure and barely warm. Time for an upgrade."

Beach Dreams Hat Head

8/10 Good

"We enjoyed our stay, clean and plenty of room. There was no blind on one of the windows in the main bedroom. Lack of privacy and light coming in.We were looking forward to the table tennis and darts but unfortunately there were no darts and only one ping pong ball, we purchased more and left them for the next guests to enjoy."

Beach Comber in Hat Head

10/10 Excellent

Beach Shack 5

8/10 Good

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We did have a few things we wanted to bring up to possibly improve future experiences. The vacuum cleaner was completely snapped/broken and not able to be used - it's not safe and needs replacing and a broom/dustpan would have helped. We had no way to tidy up.The bedroom door had cracked wood, and the frame is broken in the loungeroom. Just wanted to mention those. The mattress is well used on one side - I recommend replacing. I could not sleep at all on it but thankfully my husband took this side so I could get some rest. The bed definitely needs tightening - it's super squeaky and loud with light movements. The tv needs upgrading - a bigger smart tv would help - also doesn't match the user manual in the drawer. There were lots of random bugs/insects - lots of larger ants at night in the toilet. The microwave has no plate - I did see in a previous review and assumed it would have been replaced as we have the same microwave from kmart at home. It does make use difficult. The community laundry definitely needs some updating - the washing machines were broken/had parts off them and I feel like this did affect use (unsure if this is your domain), but definitely needs more pegs or maybe a dryer to assist as well. I recommend a door /windows to help protect from the weather. We appreciated the general supplies, very helpful. Please let us know if any updates are made as well and we will keep in mind for our minimum once yearly visit to Crescent Head."
