"A return trip to this cottage which we first visited for just a few days sometime around 2012.The cottage is just as beautiful as it was then. It has been well maintained and the views remain heavenly!Castellina too has aged well. more restaurants, shopping, art and vineyards. A huge shoutout to Podere La Piaggia for a beautiful and memorable private tasting and lunch!"

"Its a nice place but it is on top of a hill with a really small road to it...almost no place to pass another car. When we arrived the host thought we would arrive the day after, so we had to wait for another hour for the key. The house was fine, big enough, nice bedrooms and living room and kitchen is fine. The pool is great! The winery is super and really tastefull! We had a nice vacation."

"I can’t give enough stars to this fabulous home! The accomodations were great- great communication with host. We had this as home base for 10 days… a local chef named Serena is available to hire if you book early enough. She prepared three amazing dinners for us! the courtyard in back with the vista of Tuscany was amazing. Miles and miles of vineyards, estates, beautiful gardens. "8 of us stayed for 4 nights and it was fantastic! mario, the owner was gracious and expediant with messages. Mamma and Nonna pasta made a meal fit for kings ad queens!! still talking about it. 10 minutes from greve in chianti, 1 minute walk to pizza joinjt. 5 minute drive to duda restaurant, 10 minutes to filigne valdarno and its train station to florence. will be back again and again!"
