気になった点 : スタッフとサービス

ひどい人種差別、ウソをつかれた。予約(3人部屋)した部屋がとれていなかった。毎日違う部屋且つ、2日目は階数の違うバラバラの部屋になった。しかもこれはイクスペディアのミスで、ホテルサイドには非が無いと、一言の謝りもなし。我々は「2日目をノーチャージでスィートルームにアップする」という条件でホテルマネージャーの宿泊提案を受け入れたにもかかわらず、翌日フロントスタッフに「我々がスィートルームではなく階数の違う2部屋に分かれることを了解済み」と言い残し階数の違う狭い2部屋に分けるよう指示していた。もちろんそのような話は聞いて無い。クレームをつけると、スタッフがマネージャーに電話で問い合わせるが、了解済みの一点張り。嘘を平気でつき、あからさまな人種差別をする人間をマネージャーにするようなホテルをイクスペディアで扱うべきでない。

ホテルのから砂浜までが近いので、海に入ったり、ただ海辺でくつろぐには良い立地のホテル。少し古くて狭い部屋でしたが清潔に整えられている。私はチンクエテッレに行くための宿泊だったが、駅や旧市街まで少々距離あり。ただモンテロッソは道が平坦で荷物を持っての移動も楽な上トレニタリアの急行も止まる便利な駅なので、ホテルが全体的に少し高めだが、チンクエテッレの中ではオススメ。

駅からスーツケースを持って歩ける場所のホテルを探して見つけました。新市街にあるので、中心の旧市街とは駅を挟んで反対側でしたが居心地のよいホテルでした。となりの小さなスーパーが便利です。

ホテルの設備が良く駅から近くこじんまりとしたホテル。徒歩圏内に美味しいレストラン、隣には小さなグロッサリーとステキなロケーション。

世界遺産の５つの村のはずれで静か！

大変しずかな場所にあり、海のそばでゆったりとときを過ごせました。朝の食事の内容がよかったです（最初の朝はカプチーノのサービスもありました。）

眺めの素晴らしいホテルですが…

よい点。眺めが素晴らしい。客室が綺麗。可愛らしい。隣に美味しいフォカッチャ屋さんがある。近くにレストランも沢山。悪い点。早めにモンテロッソに到着したら、チェックイン前にスーツケースを預かれないと言われ大変困りました。朝食を含んだプランにしたのに、朝食も入っていないと言われました（確認書には日本語の記載しかなかったので、英語できちんと出しておくべきだったと反省）。朝食はあまり大したことなさそうだったので、まあ仕方ないかなと諦めて、隣のフォカッチャ屋さんに入りました。

駅から近い

こちらのホテルを起点にチンクエテッレをまわりました。予約した時は｢地図で見たら近そうだけど、上り坂とかなのかも｣と思っていましたが、駅から平地で徒歩数分。スーツケースを転がしてもまったく苦になりません。泊まったのがたぶん一番小さな部屋だったのでせまかったですが問題ありませんでした。チンクエテッレの他の村で夕食を食べて遅くなっても電車で安全に帰れるので便利でした。

Hi, we are a 10 rooms hotel, we don’t understand how much staff you need to be satisfied. The reception closes at the time that is communicated before and during the stay. We sincerely do not understand what real problems you had.

Very good location and friendly staff. Breakfast was also good. On the negative side, we were given a room facing a wall and I thought we asked for a sea view, but for only one night not a problem. Many things in the room did not work. Shower head kept falling down and hit me in the head once, toilet didn’t flush very well, light over the sink didn’t work and the room safe was broken. Generally a good location and I would stay again, but would ask for a different room and hopefully less broken items.

The front desk staff went out of his way to accommodate all of our wishes, even comping our glasses of wine when our transportation arrived. He was very knowledgeable, having been born in the next town over and helped us make dinner and car reservations. The facility itself might not be 5star but the staff is!

Nice location in Cinque Terre close to beach, trains, hikes. Staff was very friendly. We managed to get into our room at ~11:30 am which was a nice surprise. The room is nice with a comfortable bed, a big balcony with a sea view, plenty of storage. There's a bar/restaurant in the same building, a small grocery store nearby, a small public and private beaches with amenities very close by. The only negative is the shower. It is a plastic unit that is quite worn. It worked fine, but door is noisy and hard to close/open. Side-jets didn't work. Temperature control is quite finicky. Given positives we would stay again, but, given the rate for this hotel, I'd expect the shower to be in a tip-top condition.
