"Our stay at Grandfather's house was wounderful. House is so charming with an incredible view both on the Sea and the Vezuvio for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Sunsets on the Vezuvio are just hamazing. House is very comfortable and adapted for a group of 10 /12 people. The pool area is lovely. The house's location was perfect for us : close to Salerno (15 min), Vietri di Mare (12min) and not far from Napoli (45 min) or Pompei (35 min). Finally, Claudio is a very pleasant host. "I would give it zero stars. The reservation, which had been made and paid for in January 2025, was cancelled without reason the day before scheduled arrival which was actually Sept.23. Created an unnecessary panic. We luckily found a better place in a better location. We ultimately got our money back."

"Excellent location! Beautiful ocean views. Located on a busy main road so traffic noise is constant but we live in the country so we are not used to it. Small garbage cans in the bathroom would be useful. Lots of kitchen equipment which was helpful as we like to cook meals. If you have a gluten allergy there is a gluten free bakery right next door, you can smell it from the balcony! This was a bonus for this Celiac traveller! "

The front desk staff was very helpful and provided suggestions about where to park to walk to the Duomo of St Matthew.
