"This is a wonderful place too stay with one drawback - there’s no restaurant which means driving to Gaillac too find somewhere to eat. Alternatively, the room has a mini-kitchen and there are ready-to-heat meals available - beautifully presented in glass jars…and the chateau’s own wines are excellent"

"I had the loveliest stay at Hotel Delga. The location is great - everything's walkable; the room was fantastic - clean, spacious, and quiet; the host is lovely - tremendously helpful; and Gaillac itself was serene - you really get to unplug from the bustle that inevitably comes with bigger cities. I would absolutely return here and suggest anyone going to bigger cities add a weekend getaway on at the backend of that. Castelnau-de-Montmiral was an especially lovely trip outside of Gaillac -...

"I found this to be a traditional Chambre d'Hôte, where you don't feel you are in a hotel but rather a guest in the house of the owners. My room was comfortable and quiet, the breakfasts were very good, and the hosts were welcoming. What more do you need? The house is about a 10-minute walk from Gaillac across the river. It is also a fairly short drive into Albi, which is a small city that is well worth exploring."

"No fridge and no kettle in the room."

"We were travelling with a baby and the two reception staff we spoke to during our stay were outstanding and couldn’t do more to help us. Hotel was great - very clean, check in easy and only a 30 min walk to the old town."

"The staff was great, and the hotel has plenty of room to sit in the lobby to just relax or to unwind after a full day in the city. Free wi-fi, lots of free space, hotel is in a convenient area which makes it easy to walk the city."

"This is an amazing place to stay. Not only is the building historic but amenities are first class and current. The breakfast was first rate. But most of all was the helpful and welcoming staff. Staying here was a highlight of our trip."
