"I had a hard time checking in late. The number listed on Expedia didn’t work. The property manager/owner isn’t onsite in the evening. Another person staying helped me get checked in. It was difficult to tell where the entrance was. It wasn’t lit up. The room we had was so cute. The property owner was nice when we net him and helpful. The breakfast was amazing!!"

"This is the third time we've had the pleasure of staying at Brian's cabin, and that alone speaks volumes! The cabin has all the comforts of home. The treehouse is absolutely gorgeous! My husband and I are seniors and it provided a quiet getaway. I enjoyed laying in bed, stargazing though the skylights. With the touch of a button we were able to close the shades on both the windows and skylights, keeping the early morning sunlight from waking us. The grounds are beautifully maintained, allowing you to experience all the natural beauty Colorado has to offer. We spent hours hand feeding Mr. Bigglesworth, the resident squirrel, and all the chickadees. They stole the show-and my heart. Multiple patios allowed us to enjoy our coffee in a different spot every morning.The indoor and outdoor treasure hunts are spectacular! The clues were clever and challenging even for the adults. Whenever we were stuck Brian quickly responded with another hint.Hidden Treasure Trailhead is just 5 minutes away and offers a dozen amazing trails with varying levels of difficulty. One year, we had a four-wheeler delivered and had a blast exploring the many rugged trails in the area.One delightful feature we almost overlooked was the net beneath the treehouse. It's not just for kids! My adult children loved lounging in it. One morning we even lost my husband for a while before discovering him happily stretched out in the net!We hated to leave and will definitely be back!"

"If you’re looking for a private cabin for a relaxing & romantic stay I highly recommend this cabin. The neighborhood is super quiet with a private rap around deck with a newer hot tube. Great lighting. This cabin is big enough for the entire family. The beds were comfortable. If you prefer to cook the kitchen was well stocked with needed utensils. Amazing Columbian coffee, Air fryer & pressure cooker. The rental came with 2 fishing passes for multiple lakes within walking distance. We caught multiple fish each day. I threw them back, you did have the option. St Mary’s glacier trailhead is within walking distance. You are within 20 minutes of the casinos in black hawk. You have white water rafting, zip lines, & MT blue hike in Idaho springs. There is also now a side by side rental spot up near the cabin 250 a day which is very reasonable compared to other places. We rode the Argo mine lift and ate at the top. They had several mountain bike trails down. Some extreme, some easier. There are multiple 14,000 plus elevation hikes within a hour drive. (Touch the clouds hike) Honestly I could go on and on. I have traveled to Idaho springs multiple times and I keep finding more and more activities for the next visit. This cabin was amazing, private, & modern. The host Gina was great, truly felt like they genuinely cared about our stay. I don’t have 1 negative thing to say. Amazing stay at an amazing cabin. If you’re looking for activities there are multiple magazines in kitchen."

"Nice place to stay. Next door neighbor told us to keep our dog on a leash because of the bears. Sure enough there was a bear on the patio looking in his grill that night!Only scary part of the house was the Hobbit hole!"

"This cabin was the perfect getaway for a friend and I. Much more space than we needed but super clean and relaxing in a nice quiet area. Bedding was amazing! It had all the amenities you would ever need. Owners responded within minutes from the first communication to the last. Very kind and easy to deal with. Spent lots of time on the comfy deck sofa listening to the running stream and watching for wildlife with coffee/wine. Day excursions were easy with Idaho Springs 20 min away and Denver less than an hour. I will definitely choose this cabin again. It felt like home right away."

"This property is truly a Colorado mountain retreat at 10,300 ft elevation! It is ideally located to enjoy both Denver and Colorado Springs via I-70. The house was a great place for a family siblings Colorado reunion trip! The modern designed house was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Idaho Springs was convent for groceries or grabbing dinner and a beer. We completed our full sightseeing bucket-list vacation and topped off the trip with a John Fogerty concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater. Enjoyed our stay!!!"
