Stone House in the Peneda-Gerês National Park

Welcome to my home!

Traditionally and tastefully decorated, the house (180 meters2) is located within the Peneda Gerês National Park, with all its vast natural attractions, including lagoons and mountains. It is also within the GR50 Peneda-Geres Great Route, perfect for hiking.

The property has a spacious living room, dining room and kitchen with magnificent mountain views, rare to find. It also includes a sofa, TV, 2 dining tables for 6 people each, a covered and uncovered interior patio and a garden.

The kitchen is fully equipped with essential cooking utensils and cutlery to prepare a delicious home-cooked meal, including a microwave and an oven. An iron is also available.

Four of the bedrooms have a double bed, and one bedroom has two single beds; quality linen and towels are provided.

The five bathrooms contain all the essentials you need to freshen up, such as a hairdryer. Clean towels and free toiletries will also be provided for your convenience.

The house is always professionally cleaned for your comfort.

Guests have access to the entire house, patio and garden.

I live close by and am happy to help whenever I'm around, but when I'm not, there is a 24/7 on-the-phone concierge service that can provide you assistance any time of the day.

This charming property is ideally situated for those looking to explore the area. Within close proximity, guests can visit the historic Montalegre Castle and enjoy the natural beauty of Cávado Park. After a day of sightseeing, guests can indulge in delicious meals at nearby restaurants like Restaurante Costa, Tasca do Açougue, and Adega O Fumeiro. With its great location and abundance of attractions and dining options, This home is the perfect base for a memorable stay in Montalegre.

The best way to reach the property is by car or Taxi.
The Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is just 1:40 hrs min driving.

For the first use, we provide the following basic amenities: toilet paper, kitchen roll, dishwashing detergent and a garbage bag. Toiletries such as shower gel and shampoo are not provided.

If you need extra cleaning or linen, please let us know and we will be happy to arrange it for you at an additional cost.

There is a zero tolerance policy for smoking on the property. Should our staff find any evidence that this rule has been violated (e.g. smell of tobacco, ashes, etc.).

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy will apply with a limit of €80 included.

Extra keys: €20 (extra set when possible, lost keys or door opening service).
Extra cleaning: cleaning fee.
Extra linen: 30€ (towels and sheets for 2 people, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
