Lovely little apartment

Such a great location. We had everything we needed and it was lovely being able to sit outside and have a coffee in the morning. Absolutely gorgeous little town and great public transport links. Only downside being the steps to the second bedroom which we hadn’t realised was a fold down metal staircase. If either of us had any mobility issues the apartment would not have been appropriate as both bedrooms were upstairs. There was a lack of large towels and someone seemed to take the ones we did have out of the apartment and swap them for smaller ones. We did have a lovely stay - thanks so much.

The house is beautiful but you need to know that it’s located next to the bell tour and it makes a lot of noise during all night.

Heel leuk huisje in een leuk dorp.

Heel leuk dorp met al zijn charme en leuke resto ect. Huisje voldoet aan alle confort en ligt centraal in het dorp. Vlak bij Amsterdam indien je toch de grote shopping wil doen.

Charmantes Tinyhouse in Mittelalterstädchen nur 20 Bus-Minuten von Amsterdam Centraal

Nette Vermieter, gute Anbindung nach Amsterdam, süßer Ort. Glockenturm bimmelt viel, ist ganz lustig. Hat uns nicht gestöhrt. Cooles Hochbett für die Kids ( Klapptreppe- nix für kleine Kinder!).

Apartment der schlaflosen Nächte

Grundsätzlich wäre die Ferienwohnung gut für einen Städtetrip nach Amsterdam geeignet. Die Busanbindung zum Zentralbahnhof war sehr gut. Die Ferienwohnung ist klein aber in Ordnung. Aus unserer Sicht gibt es hier nur 2 Mängel: 1.) Das Badzimmer hat kein Waschbecken. Es muss hier das Waschbecken in der Küche genommen werden. 2.) Das Sofa auf den Bildern der Anzeige ist nicht mehr vorhanden. Das neue Sofa ist kleiner, alt und es passen nur 2 Personen darauf. Man hat daher keine richtige Sitzgelegenheit zusammen in der Wohnung. Der eigentliche negative Faktor der Wohnung ist allerdings der Glockenturm (ca. 50 Meter Luftlinie entfernt). Dieser spielt alle 30 Minuten ein Glockenspiel + Glockenschlag + Trompetenfanfaren für ca. 2 Minuten (rund um die Uhr). Dies machte ein Durchschlafen für uns unmöglich und wir haben früher neben eine Kirche gewohnt.

Heerlijke vakantiewoning

+ Fijne vakantiewoning, midden in het centrum van Monnickendam. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Monique is een hele vriendelijke gastvrouw! - Bepaalde dingen zijn wel aan vervanging toe of verdienen een goede schoonmaakbeurt (keuken accessoires). Het appartement was echter niet vies! Voor lichte slapers is het een aanrader om oordoppen mee te nemen vanwege de kerkklokken. We komen graag een keer terug!

Schöne kleine aber feine Wohnung

Wir fanden eine sehr schöne Wohnung vor mit genug Platz für 4 Leute Kleines monko war allerdings der Garten der nur 4 qm klein war somit für Hunde nicht ganz geeignet aber das soll nur ein kleines monko sein ansonst war es echt top!!!

Super schickes kleines Häuschen

Wir waren zu vier Mädels in diesem Haus - Dank Klimaanlage haben wir es hier unterm Dach gut ausgehalten - am Wärmsten Tag der Wetteraufzeichnung :-) Bei Ankunft wurden wir ganz Lieb von Monique aufgenommen. Sie hat uns alles erklärt und Dank einer Mappe mit weiteren Infos zu Bus/Bahn etc. ist wirklich für alles gesorgt. Die Lage ist super. Die Mini Terrasse vollkommen ausreichend für einen Wein am Abend oder das Frühstück am Morgen. Der Ort ist wunderschön. Viele Lieber Menschen - schöne kleine Läden - tolle Kneipen und Bars und einfach viel zu sehen. Das Glockenspiel hat uns persönlich gar nicht gestört - ganz im Gegenteil - es ist einfach ein Teil dieser Stadt. Wir würden sofort wieder dort hinfahren.

Very cute town

We enjoyed staying in this apartment outside of Amsterdam and catching the bus into town each day (note the bus is expensive, $10E per day for adult). The town is super cute and a nice respite from the bustle of Amsterdam. The one issue we had with the apartment is the windowsill juts out over the back of the couch - I hit my head really hard the first day.

A nice place, could use more storage for clothing and toiletries. The historic bell tower is nearby, if you are a light sleeper, this location may not be a good fit. Such a great, helpful host!

Sehr gemütlich, schön und funktionell eingerichtete Wohung!! Übergabe der Wohnung auch sehr einfach und unkompliziert und nett:) Mitten in Monnickendamm, was ein sehr schöner Bilderbuchort ist! Und trotzdem ist man innerhal von 15 min mit dem Bus in Amsterdam:) Nur Oropax mitnehmen für den Glockenturm, welcher jede Stunde bimmelt;) Ich würde es aber dennoch wärmstens weiter empfehlen und komme bestimmt gerne noch einmal wieder!

vernünftige Ausstattung , kleine Wohnung, hohe Nebengeräusche!!

der erste Eindruck war positiv, insgesamt jedoch ist die Wohnung recht klein, für ältere Menschen und Kinder aufgrund der engen Aufstiege in die Schlafräume nicht geeignet. Bei sommerlichen Temperaturen jenseits 25 Grad wird es deutlich warm unterm Dach und ist unklimatisiert anstrengend. Der größte Mangel jedoch ist aus unserer Sicht das 24 stündige , alle 15 minütige Glockenspiel des 50m entfernten Kirchturmes. 365 Tage pro Jahr. Dies ist nur schwer zu akzeptieren und stellt eine deutliche Lärmbelästigung dar.
