「This is an exquisite high quality hotel with excellent rooms and friendly staff. Facilities and activities amazing. We had a wonderfully relaxing time enjoying the swimming pool, wonderful views and first class dining. 」

「Charmante petite résidence dans les murs.Chambre pour trois avec lit en mezzanine. Vraiment toute une expérience de vivre dans la vieille ville et de passer des soirées au calme lorsque les autobus quittent. Peu ou pas de place de stationnement proche de la porte car il y a du monde jour et nuit garé, et notre auto était à 15-20 minutes de marche à chacune des 3 journées de notre séjour. Soyez préparés à cela, mais ce n'est pas un défaut. Beaucoup d'escaliers à monter et descendre pour s'y...

「5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options....

「If you are coming to Monemvasia you should really stay within the castle walls to get the full experience. The hotel is towards the east end of the castle but a very easy walk (5 mins) through the lower town. Like all hotels inside the castle, it is really a cluster of separate houses made into hotel rooms and the room was spacious, beds comfortable with great sea views and nice antique furniture. Most of all as it's at the end of town it's very quiet. I would definitely recommend it」

「Truly excellent experience. Had a wonderful time and our room was spotless with a great view of the sea. Highly recommend. Zoi's (marble) cakes are delicious and Paula (owner) is very kind, polite and helpful. Smacked in the middle of Pounta (Elafonisos Ferry) and Neapoli (nearest town) makes it a perfect location, not to mention the beach right in front of the hotel with a nearby (2 min walk) beach bar. Would love to visit again!」

「Nice simple clean hotel with a nice pool area. Close to Monemavasia (which is great !), about 90 minutes to Elafonisos (amazing). Very friendly and accomodating owners. Great restaurant (with mini market) a 2 minute walk away. Quite a few other restaurant options in area. Very hard beds. 」
