"The Holiday Inn met expectations, the hotel is well worn and very basic but that was what we expected. We appreciated the breakfast, the staff tried to keep everything fresh even during the morning rush. The front desk staff were great and very helpful."

"It was a convenient location as we were boarding a Holland America ship the next day. It was literally across the street from the boarding area. The reason I gave it 4 stars was to evening meal area is a food court with really great food choices, but the music was so loud you couldn’t hear anyone."

"Our room was spacious and so comfortable. We had a nice corner room. We had spent several days before in a very small, historic hotel in another town. We tripped over our luggage or furniture constantly. This room had so much space. The kettle and tea were a nice touch."
