The Delaware Hotel

"We've stayed at the Delaware Hotel several times now - Leadville is a good starting point for many 14ers and this was, again, our plan this weekend. We booked a Queen due to the good price but have also stayed in a King room (prefer the King just due to space). The setup is a little odd in that the sink is located in the room, vs the bathroom, but doesn't bother us. We love the quaintness and historic appeal of this property. Worth noting: we had to be up at 3:30am to prepare for our hike Saturday and the woman who checked us in offered to get the coffee, served on the 2nd floor (no in-room coffee), ready for us early - amazing! And a kudos to Erin who served us at the lobby bar both Friday and Saturday night. She was fantastic!"

"The place was clean and the location was great. Close to downtown Leadville for shopping & food. Also very convenient location for Mt Elbert, Mt Massive, Turquoise Lake and other hikes. Definitely recommend."

"This home was the base camp for my first attempt at a 100-miler. It was ample space for me to relax pre-event, for my crew to spread out and wind down before go time, and a great place to return to after spending so much time outside. The location was optimal for access to downtown Leadville and shuttling back and forth between crew stations during the race and the start and finish line. 10/10 would recommend for any adventure!"
